Best boy hates girl then loves her books
I think the list speaks for itself, also this is a YA fiction list. Pretend Hate is included as well.

It's BOY hates girl then loves her not the other way around:)

But she thought so and the book is based in Tris´s point of view.

The Host shouldn´t be here because, she does not fall in love with the one that hated her.... And he didn´t hate her, he hated the host.
Why is the Hunger Games and Carching Fire up there? Neither Peeta or Gale hated Katniss at the beginning!
Twilight? Graceling? Twilight was love at first sight, he just stayed away from her to protect her. He was never even mean to her. Graceling the main characters had ONE 'semi-bad' run in in the like 2nd chapter, then were friends the entire rest of the book >.>
Most of these books are not actually about the boy hating the girl. They are usually pretending, and it's not even hate, but dislike, maybe strong dislike -.-
Some of these are fine, but maybe someone should add a description and explain that pretend-hate can be included.

It says that pretend hate is included so they might explain some of the above confusion ^^^^^^^^. Also I think if the guy treats her very shitty or doesn't have a good opinion of her, and that changes, then I think it counts as well, imho.

If you're referring to Jared hating Wanda, then yeah, you're right, but remember that even Ian tried to kill her right in the beginning of the book.

he didn't hate her, but he was extremely rude to her at the beginning of the book.

There isn't even any romance in The Knife of Never Letting Go—and I don't think Todd ever hated Viola. :\

Nope. I think people are just adding books to this list randomly.

There are far too many books on here where the guys CLEARLY didn't hate the girls. It is honestly stupid that some books are on here. Some I can see, like they clearly hated the girl or they were forbidden to like her, which is close enough. But honestly - whoever is adding these books doesn't understand the concept of HATE.

I am so glad you posted this as I don't recall any hate on his part. Sometimes I miss things.

i think they meant edward rejected bella because he didn't want to eat her. Though I don't consider that to be hate. some others might.

That book is from Bella's POV and Bella thought Edward hated her at first.

Nope, but I remember me hating Lena in Delirium.

I understand why Divergent is here. We know later in the book that Four was acting indifferent because he wanted to protect her but from Tris' point of view he hated her because he was always rude and she could never understand what he was thinking. Similarly in the beginning of the Hunger Games Peeta sided with the careers and it seemed like he wanted to kill Katniss which can also be counted as "Pretend Hate".
The inclusion of "Delirium" and "The Fault in Our Stars" is a mystery to me though. I can't recall a single moment when Alex or Augustus was ever mean to Lena/Hazel.

Well, written as it is, it seems like the person emphasizes on the fact that it's a YA list. If not he/she would have said "it is also a YA list" to justify the act to had YA books.
But hey, it's my opinion, I may be reading way too much into this also...

In the very first book only Edward wanted to kill her! Remember when they were in chemistry together? The other 3 books should not be here as this only happened in the first book!
