I feel like the editor's have really been falling down on the job here. In one place, the author references a character from a recent Harry Potter film. Let's not forget that our protagonists are from the 60s, not the 2010s. There's also a point where she seems to get the character's last name wrong. According to references, Jocasta takes Duncan's name (Innes), but at least once he's referred to as Duncan Cameron?

Anita Just read this part, chapter 92 Claire compares one of Beatrix Potter's characters, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, to the governor's wife, Mrs. Martin. https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
I searched the ebook and found the Duncan Cameron bit appeared once in chapter 110 and I think that is an editing mistake. Unless he changes his name, I haven't read that far yet.
Melissa What character from Harry Potter is mentioned? I feel like I must have missed this part.
Chanda Valis I am currently listening to the book on Scribd and yes, the reader, I believe, "misspoke" and said Duncan Cameron because I also have the book right next to me and in print it says Duncan Innes. (Chapter 110)
