I think the reason I didn't like it is purely a preference-thing for me. The world that the author, Lexie Dunne, builds where superheroes and supervillains exist is creative and nothing like the Marvel and DC universes. That is great. But she spends way too much time on the traditional soap opera elements and not on the superhero elements; you know, the "does he like me" inner dialogue between the main characters. Don't get me wrong, the Soap Opera elements are all over the Marvel and DC universes especially in the comics, but this book felt more like a "romance" story with some superhero touches rather than a superhero story with some romance touches. If that is your thing, then you will love this book. It just was not my thing....more
