Guys, I read this book in just a little over 24 hours and now I'm kind of devasted. I wanted a love story to read, and a love story I had, but I didn't imagine for it to touch me so much. This is the first book by this author that I read but I will give them another chance for sure.
This is a love story, like I said, but it is so much more than that. It's about finding oneself and dealing with pain, a pain so brutal it can tear you apart. It's about overcoming that pain and learning to deal with it. It's about love in all forms.
Sure, this was a typical New Adult Romance books, I haven't read one of them in a lot of time but even I could see there were a lot of clichés in it. Also, I don't really like when women fight over a man and they toss the blame at each other using not the kindest of terms. It's just something that unnerves me a lot.
Other than that, I found Atticus's and Hazel's story to be well portareyed and quite believable. The beginning is quite unrealistic but I can deal with that, no problem at all. I like romance books with kind of big and full-on-pathos love stories. Don't be fooled like me, though, keep some tissues at hand. Believe me, you WILL cry. ...more
