It's a lengthy book at 403 pages and it provides a unique perspective, exploring Roosevelt’s health from a physician’s viewpoint.
Lomazow, who is a neurologist, looks into the history of FDR's documented health issues, such as polio and severe hypertension, and also adds to the book in the form of various other medical concerns that were overlooked or underreported in other books.
What stood out for me, was its in-depth research by the author, as it gave a new perspective on one of America’s most significant political figures. It wasn’t just a discovery but a thoroughly intriguing read. ...more

Alexander Storm and his team are plunged into a world of ancient ruins, mysterious caves, and rugged landscapes, in this globe trotting expedition. Theres a good blend of the supernatural, archaeology and mythology elements that created more to the journey. The third-person all-seeing narrative style, effectively built up suspense and kept me totally engaged with the fate of the characters, which I loved! especially the relationships between Storm, Serket, Kate, and Frank, all well crafted and portrayed quite realistically. The cliffhanger ending totally left me eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series. Dragon Storm: Abracadabra is a definate must-read in my opinion and i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to fans of fantasy-thrillers and supernatural-suspense. The protagonist, Emily Noland, is a character I found myself pretty connected with. Her journey from being a ski instructor to a dream traveler was fascinating and a big part of why I liked the book. The way Decker explores the power of the human mind and heart in this novel made me feel like I was embarking on a metaphysical journey of my own. Emily's curious nature and her quest for understanding her newfound ability to transform her dreams into reality resonated with my own interest and sense of adventure. The novel also made me feel a range of emotions - from the joy of Emily's life blossoming with love and happiness, to the anxiety when everything changes and she seems to lose control. Decker's skillful storytelling made these emotions palpable and real. Overall this was a pretty captivating read that made me feel deeply and think profoundly. I look forward to reading more from the author. ...more
