What another fantastic read by Whitley Cox that had me both chuckling and needing to change my panties because of that dirty talking Heath Hart! Dark Hart is a story in the continuing saga of the Harty boys and their quest to take down Dakota Creed, an evil man who traffics women and children.
Heath has had an ongoing casual, but not so casual relationship with pediatrician Dr. Pasha Young for the past six months and when Pasha’s sister goes missing, Heath worries Dakota Creed may be at it again. This story was just action-packed from beginning to end, but paced a little differently due to Heath and Pasha already being involved from the start of the book. It didn’t detract from the story at all and just gave us those smokin’ hot smexy times right from the beginning. The chemistry between the two of them is phenomenal and you were rooting for the two of them from the start. Heath is a protector through and through, but his singleminded focus makes it difficult for him to see other important things around him. Sasha was just great! In Heath’s words, Sasha is “smart AF, hot AF, funny AF and most of all, kind AF”, making her his perfect compliment and everything he needed in his life. It really was a wonderful story and I can’t wait to read Full Hart when it comes out!
