For each letter, there is expository information about a specific trail and park, the length of the trail, and the level of difficulty. There is also information shared in verse. Plus, there is other information about gear and the rules of hiking. At the end of the book is a labeled diagram of a compass and its parts, plus information about how a compass works.
This book is beautifully illustrated with bold, colorful drawings.

For each type of bridge, there is the heading, name of the bridge, country / continent it is located, 1-2 sentences about the bridge, and a 2-page bold, colorful illustration that showcases the bridge.
