I met him at BlogWorld where he did a Fancy Fast Food demo. We ended up collaborating, and it was great fun to be a small part of Fancy Fast Food. I enjoyed the book version of FFF - the pictures are nice and big, the text amusing and entertaining to read, and the concept is clever. Moe Murdock's illustrations nicely compliment the content. I also enjoyed reading how FFF came about. Definitely worth checking out!...more

The author does a great job at having this be more than just a gimmick, and he's pretty creative. If there's a sequel, I'd read it....more

I agree with my friend's review that Molly was too naive up front and Brooke almost too easily converted to good sister. My only real complaint is that the book sort of just ends and I was left feeling like it was missing a few chapters. I wanted to see Molly and Teddy reunited, and wanted to see Brooke and Molly make up. That said, Brooke's road trip with Brick was pretty great. The character of Brick Berlin as a whole was fantastic. He was very amusing. If there's a sequel (which I think there is) I'd read it....more

However, I really enjoyed reading them again - especially because he updated them and added little coda's that updated the reader on how that specific experience impacted his life and thinking. Also, I like his style of writing - he's very clever and funny and honest and it makes for good (and quick) reading. Some of the other chapters were new to me - and I enjoyed those as well....more
