I couldn't rate it 5 stars because I just loved the first one so much but this one was right up there. 4.5 stars for sure. I really loved Kacey's character growth in this one. I adored Theo and I'm happy they are getting a happy(ish) ending after everything that happened in the first book. ...more

It is sultry and sweet and sassy. Stone, former playboy needs a break from his reality and decides to sail to the Caribbean for 10 days to work on himself but when he finds his brother's ex girlfriend on his boat, what is he to do.
Tinsley is hiding out from the press and the rest of the world so she convinces Stone that she should sail with him.
They both agree to keep to themselves during their trip, but that is nearly impossible on a boat and the more time they spend together, the more they want to spend together which leads to attraction and more. What will happen when their trip is over and reality comes crashing back.
I was so drawn into this story and really enjoyed the characters. The steamy scenes were off the charts and I was sweating and fanning myself just reading them. I really appreciate how the author paces the story to keep you guessing as to how they are going to end up at an HEA but inevitably they do and I loved it.
Now, where can I find a sweet, billionaire, tattooed, pierced, doctor that is obsessed with me to marry?
Jason Clarke does a phenomenal job of narrating Stone's character and Andi Arndt does wonderfully with Tinsley's character. I can hear the emotion in their voices and they bring life to the characters.

I loved Finn and Tom and even though I'm not a fan of a love triangle this one was done to perfection. I do not envy the decision Liv had to make but I think I would have done the same in her shoes. I do think parts of the ending made up for it but I can't give it a 4.5 stars so I'll round down to 4.
Now, that being said, I don't know how Elsie Silver can write a book about a single dad and make me love it so much. I steer away from single dad romance books for a reason but every time I read one from Elsie I end up loving it so there's that.
I really liked West's character in this book as well as Skylar and I would be remiss if I didn't mention the chatty Cherry. I love a sassy side character even if it happens to be a bird :)
The spicy scenes in this book were outstanding and I was sweating while reading. Wow. West can invite me over any time.
Overall I loved this one and can't wait for the next in the series. I have a feeling Rhys's book is going to be amazing!...more

I When I read that this book is perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Emily Henry I immediately requested to read it as that is right up my alley. I do agree that this is a similar story type to those authors and I think many readers will love this book. My one complaint with this book is that the title "Under Your Spell" makes it seem like it's a bit witchy and while it does have the sisters doing a "spell" it's not a witchy book at all. It's more like sisters make wishes and call it a spell.
I did really like Theo and how committed he was to Clemmie. I love how Clemmie does a bit of soul searching to find out what she really wants. The ending is great and had me giggling and smiling.
This was a lighthearted, entertaining contemporary romance that I think will definitely be on the top of many readers lists this year.

I am surprised at how much I ended up liking it. Hearts are broken, hearts are mended and songs are written. This book was funny, romantic and delightful with some sadness throughout, just what I want in every rom-com....more
