The story opens with Tera getting away from an abusive Millionaire boyfriend, which is what moves the story along and forces her and her friends to move to a different town and start over. When I first picked this up, I thought it was going to be a sweet romance but the added touch of BDSM made this such a fun ride. Eric and Tera have an instant connection at a Halloween party of places. They connect over social media after there first encounter and they both try to tame their attraction. What transpires over the next few months is that Eric and Tera open a life styles club with their friends forcing them to test their attraction. What I liked about them both as a couple is that they both have some baggage. I have read many books in this wheelhouse where the Dom is this perfect man or vies versa that this was refreshing. I found the supporting cast of characters were funny witty and charming and it added so much to the read for me. The chemistry between them is just wow and the fact this ends on a cliffhanger is amazing. Yes, I am the crazy girl who loves cliffhangers in this instance I need to know if Eric will come out of the friend zone fully? Will we meet the ex-again what is next? This was a round about 3 stars read for me and that is only because I don’t read much of Erotica and I haven’t fully found my love for the genre yet.
