Basically Wolf by Wolf in condensed version and in Luka's POV. Not really necessary but it's a good refresher before I start reading Blood for Blood! Basically Wolf by Wolf in condensed version and in Luka's POV. Not really necessary but it's a good refresher before I start reading Blood for Blood! Since I haven't read Wolf by Wolf since 2015. And it's cute to see that there's more romance on Luka's end than Adele's end!

Binti continues to evolve beyond any human's imagining and she continues to have identity crises. My emotions were all over the place in this book and thankfully things worked out. For the most part. I will keep thinking of Binti, Okwu, Mwinyi, and New Fish for a long time to come and hopefully Okorafor will also and write more!...more

I finally got on the Binti train and I'm not getting off. Binti wants more for herself and goes out into space to find it. Brilliant. The whole concept of "treeing" though was very confusing for me!...more

It's a book you can sit and think with, you can flip to the section that best fits what you're going through and read about other people that went through the same exact thing. We're all the same, we all suffer the same, we experience the same love, loss, hate, etc....more
Won Paperback ARC in BookishFirst.com Giveaway! (in 2019)
I own the Artemis Fowl series but have never read it. That will have to change. So this book Won Paperback ARC in BookishFirst.com Giveaway! (in 2019)
I own the Artemis Fowl series but have never read it. That will have to change. So this book was my first foray into this world! What fun! The puns! Lord Bleedham-Drye! Hilarious! And I love Whistleblower! The twins *occasionally* got on my nerves but this was a rollicking good time. Definitely a fun book for middle grade kiddos. Artemis is an adult and established by the time this book takes place and so Myles and Beckett have taken the crazy Fowl reins to solve a mystery. I enjoyed the tricks the two performed on the baddies and loved NANNI, thank goodness for NANNI. Now I've GOT to read the Artemis Fowl series! And finished this trilogy too, of course. I don't think I've seen the film either. I would love to see an animated show of Myles and Beckett's adventures. Whoever illustrated the covers (all versions but specifically the orange cover) did an amazing job!...more
