I hate that I have waited this long to read Evergreen Academy OR to read something by Ruby Vincent. This series is incredible.
It picks up after the second book and the guys are starting to make their amends and are on the path of redemption. Just when Valentina thinks that this will be her year and her year to enjoy Evergreen, someone has to throw a wrench into her plans.
The way the guys are going about their redemption is cute as well. They are all growing on me and I cannot wait to see where it goes. Even with someone pulling the strings and blackmailing Valentina, they make it their mission to keep her safe and prove their loyalty to her.
The end of that one was shocking! I was not expecting that and I cannot wait to see how everything wraps up in the last book! I need lots and lots of answers! ...more

TAh! Broken was so intense! I am here for all the revenge! This book picks up during summer break and goes into Valentina's second year at Evergreen.
The bullying did last through this book, until one big revelation between Valentina and one of the guys. Last book, I didn't like any of the guys, but they're growing on me little by little.
I am living for the revenge that Valentina is serving and how she does it let's everyone know she did it, without leaving any evidence. Every single act of revenge she does is absolutely perfect. Although, one of them, she looked completely crazy ...more

I love a good high school bully book and the stuff that Valentina has to endure while being marked is pretty horrendous.
Valentina ends up at Evergreen Academy with a trail of secrets following her. She meets the Knights, Jaxson, Ezra, Maverick and Ryder, who she already knows. Ryder is set out to make her life hell from the beginning.
As of right now, all the Knights can kick rocks. They better be doing some big groveling to be redeemed.
I'm excited to see where this series will go. After that ending, I need to know how Valentina will bounce back and let's hope she gets revenge on these boys......more

I love Indiana, she has had to overcome a lot, but she is working on healing. All of the characters have something they're working through, it makes them real and relatable.
There was a lot happening at the end of Destroyed, and Absolution picks back up where it left off. I felt like a detective in this one trying to figure out how everything pieced together and who Anonymous is, but also realizing that it all leads back to one person. The one person that can crash Indiana's world to the ground.
I am excited that we are getting a fourth book. I knew it was going to end in a cliffhanger, but NOT expecting everything that went down in that last bit. There is a lot to unpack. I am so ready for the next one, I need to fully see how all the cogs are working. ...more

She has a rough, rough past, but we see her start to try to make her life better. There are people from her past that keep popping up, as well as others that are trying to bring her down.

I really love Sebastian and Naomi's relationship. He's all alpha and she is his prey. The cat and mouse game that was in book one has continued into Black Thorns, because it IS Sebastian and Naomi's relationship.
There was so much going on in this book! The twists that were revealed were shocking. Things go way back and the way everything ties together is done beautifully.
I'm excited to learn that Nate is getting a book and I will be looking forward to reading it!

This series is full of secrets and they just keep coming. Just when I think things are calming down, they pick right back up again. I have so many questions and theories and all sorts of things running through my mind.
Hadley is loyal, but she also has trust issues. It takes a lot for her to trust someone and open up, but I'm glad she is starting to with the guys. I love her friendship she has with Emilia. I'm glad Emilia found her voice and doesn't care what people think. She is the perfect best friend for Hadley, I will be destroyed if she has an ulterior motives.
With family secrets being revealed, all the guys are having a tough time. I have felt for them, especially Cam. His chapter midway through the book had me in tears. He is so hard on himself and very unforgiving. Mason and West.. holy spiciness!! I am living for their interactions with Hadley. Beck is very supportive of her and will back her no matter what, even when he doesn't agree with her. And Hawk.. I just love him and I love that he is coming to terms with her being family.
My jaw was on the floor for most of this book and definitely at that ending. I am so terrified what Beyond Vengeance will bring. I have all these terrible scenarios in my head and I am so scared that she is going to learn things that will break her and Hawk's hearts.
R.A. did an amazing job on this series and I am already itching for Beyond Vengeance. I can't wait to see what happens in this series and any future series/books that R.A. writes....more

I love NaoAh! Why's it gotta end like that?!? This whole book was a rush! Between Naomi and Sebastian's games to her being stalked, it is a wild ride!
I love Naomi. She has the biggest attitude and isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks. Sebastian is sinister with a golden boy exterior. Him and Naomi are perfect for one another. Their dark interiors match each other's.
The whole element of the stalking has brought this story to another level. Not only is she dealing with Sebastian and his domineering ways, but she's also having to constantly look over her shoulder. Naomi experiences so much fear throughout the book.
I cannot wait until Black Thorns. After that cliffhanger, I need to know what happens!...more

And The Watchers!!! Church, Stitches, Ashes and Sin are right up my alley. They're unhinged, obsessive, cruel yet kind, and most of them will do what they need to do to keep Sirena.
Sirena had something awful happen to her when she was around 10. It's caused her a lot of trauma and because of it, she's mute. She does not communicate with anyone. Her family sends her away to Chapel Crest to rid her of her demons.
Chapel Crest is overwhelming for her. She doesn't speak, so of course she becomes an object of interest. Things are good and bad for her there. Old memories are drummed up when she tries her best to keep them at bay.
Even though she is mute, she's strong with what she's been through. She's also feisty and knows when to push buttons. I love that the guys have divulged their stories to her. We get to see that past of them because she can't tell anyone.
I knew something big was coming at the end. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but things are going to be muddy now with the bet that was happening, but I know that with how obsessed Church is, he is going to do whatever it takes to make her theirs....more

It's dark and gritty and definitely different from what I've read before.
I typically read bully books where the fmc is the one being bullied, but in this version, the fmc is the bully. Asha is in a dark place in her life and forced to do many things against her will. Liam is a scholarship student that is crushing on Asha.
I will warn you that you need to read the triggers before reading this book. It is dark and questionable things happen throughout the whole book. If you love dark books with broken characters then I highly recommend it. If you are not ok with noncon or dubcon, I would recommend a different book.
With all this being said, I really enjoyed it and will be reading more books by this author....more

I love Harper! She's determined and she's a fighter and she won't back down from anything. She discovers things this book, that I was not expecting.
Royal is the ultimate alphahole. He's broken, but Harper is beginning to heal him and it scares him. He tries to keep her at arms length but isn't always successful.

This book has broken me over and over and over. First of all, read the triggers from all the books before venturing further in this story. Like SelenaThis book has broken me over and over and over. First of all, read the triggers from all the books before venturing further in this story. Like Selena said, if you have any triggers at all, don't read it, plain and simple. This book is not a happy story and it revolves around two people that are very, very broken.
In the last book, there were some unforgiveable things that happened. There were things that should not have been forgiven, but I had already made my decision that I had forgiven Royal. Royal is so haunted by things in his life, that it seems the only way he can feel is to hurt. This means he ends up hurting Harper more than he should.
After the end of Boys Club, Harper is broken, almost beyond broken. She doesn't care what happens to her, she's completely numb to the world. I feel for her so much in this book. I have cried a lot during this book. It broke me.
Royal and Harper are so toxic. I really do not think that I have read a couple that is as toxic as them, and I am here for it. They are passionate, fight with and for each other, and constantly do things to hurt one another. They hate hard and love harder.
Now this book comes with lots of twists. You get some answers in this book, but with the cliffhanger at the end, I am left with more. WHY?!? I cannot wait for Blood Empire, it is going to be epic....more

Harper and Royal are so magnetic and their push and pull between each other will only end in an explosion. This story had me turning the pages trying to find out what was going to happen next.
The whole bridge scene in the beginning had me holding my breath, and then the school incident was the same way, along with the after party at the quarry. Gah! I just love this series so much! This one is so much darker than the first and I am hoping it continues down this path. Royal is so damaged and broken that he doesn't know how to let anyone in and Harper is slowly banging down his walls.
AH! That ending! I cannot wait for Boys Club. I was thinking that it was possible that he zoned in on her for a reason and thought that was possibly it, and now I am almost positive I know who is sending her the messages. Maybe. I am probably wrong....more

There are so many secrets surrounding Faulkner and we found about some in the original series during the Darling Reign. Now that the Dolce's are ruling over the town, what will we uncover?
I love Harper Apple! She's tough from growing up in a broken home, but she knows when to bend before she's broken. From the events of the first series, we know that the Dolce brothers are going to be messed up, especially Royal.

I love Tillie and the guys, but Tey has to be an absolute favorite of mine. He may just be a tad bit crazy.
Tillie has been through a rough time in her short life, but she is trying to break through and come out on top. I have been rooting for her since book one and she is growing with each and every page. She is strong, but does have some PTSD from her past. It is getting harder and harder for her to hold the guys at arms length.
Let's talk about that cliffhanger... I knew it was coming, I just didn't know exactly how it was going to go down. This book and series is amazing!
