One thing I always know to expect from LJ is a toxic relationship with a feisty fmc and an alphahole mmc. Mac and Ember are explosive and have a hate/hate relationship that blurs into attraction.
Snob is a standalone and I am glad there wasn't a cliffhanger. There are some darker elements, so be mindful when picking this one up. Do I wish there was more? Of course, but hopefully it's not the last we see of Mac and Ember!...more

From the beginning they clash and Beckett sees Eve as a way to get his frustrations out. I've been craving a bully book and this one hit the spot.
According to Eve's brother (another Ice God), she's off limits, but her and Beckett are so magnetic, that the tension just rolls off of them. I loved the forced proximity and the war Beckett seems to be having. This one has some darker content, so please read through the warnings.
Beckett goes through so much growth during this one too. He's resorted to some not so healthy coping mechanisms for what he's gone through in his short life. He has doubts and some trust issues. I would too if I had to live through what he's been through.
Eve has brought out the best in him. She sees him for who he is. She doesn't look at him and have any kind of pity. She loves him for who he is and vice versa, and he's never letting her go.
I feel like I could go on and on about Dark Delights and the Hellions in general. I loved the snippet of Asher's story and I hope he gives her hell......more

It's a quick and fast instalove, but then everything comes crashing down. I feel for Poppy. She felt real and the struggles she's going through, no one should ever have to.
Those Noxious Boys would do anything for Poppy, but their brothers definitely come first (until they don't). They want to nurture, but Bennett gets into their heads.
I was sucked into this one. I didn't want to put it down. As broken as Poppy feels, she needs to know she's strong. I wanted to reach in and hold her during some of those rough times. I wanted to also shake all the guys and make them get it together. I hate that it took something drastic for them to see she was drowning, but it was needed.
Even though Poppy has a lot of internal struggles, she deserves all the love these guys have to give....more

There's a lot going on in this one, things Riley knows and some she doesn't, which will devastate her. I loved watching her grow. She's a little broken and the guys have helped piece her back together, mainly Logan and Royce. They're all in.
Her relationship with Grayson is a roller coaster. He's fighting a war within himself, not only over his feelings for her, but with things that have happened in the past.
Seeing Riley go through the pain that she does is heartbreaking. Just when she's feeling the best she has in a long time, she gets knocked down. I'm ready for her to take the world by storm with her men at her back, ready to do what it takes. After that sorta double cliffhanger, I'm ready to find out what happens....more

Haley and Cam might not have gotten off on the right foot when she moved to Citrus Cove in high school, but now that she's back, he's going to do what it takes to right his wrongs and make her his. It's a cute story of second chances, with a dark under tone.
Haley has her own life, but she feels the need to go back home, the one place she thought she would never go again. I loved getting to know her and Cam, as well as other characters. Citrus Cove has that small town feel where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows everyone's business, even if you don't broadcast it.
I really enjoyed this one and I can't wait to read more in the Citrus Cove world!...more

Another amazing ending to a series! This series is so fast paced to me. There didn't seem to be any slow parts and the twists that came out had my head spinning.
If you have read Scarlett's story, you know of Riley. She grows so much from the first time we met her in this world. The whole series, I felt like Riley was always looking over her shoulder, but she had some else watching out for her. Ridge, Lev and Maddox are her missing pieces.
It seems like everyone gets some sort of closure in their own way and I'm not ready to let these characters go. There is an introduction to other characters and I am hoping we will get their story. They seem a little more unhinged than this group and that's saying a lot.
Anyway, another amazing series by Rachel! Every time she comes out with a new series, it turns into my new favorite of hers, they just keep getting better and better!!

Secret girl is always a fun trope, but folding it into infiltrating a frat can be dangerous. While reading, I couldn't help but think of documentaries where pledges have becoming injured or even died during hell week hazing. I liked the suspense part in this and the sense to get revenge. Although it's heavy on plot and the wickedness of how far some will go, there is a touch of romance. I do like how the ending is satisfying with Reagan getting what she deserves and it's left open if there is any more in the future....more

I went for it for the cover and the tags was not disappointed. One unfortunate event happened and sent her family spiraling and Tori is bound and determined to clear her brother's name to set the record straight. She doesn't take no for an answer and she's not going to let anyone drag her down. She take the brunt of a lot "pranks" after being labeled as a pariah at JKU.
I love how headstrong Tori is. She is going to give Royal, Synclair and Gemini a run for their money. I can't wait until the next one. I know it's going to be more intense than this one, but I am rooting for her.

Cayden wants to make his life better and with a transfer to a new school, his hopes of a scholarship are in his sites.
Lily grows so much over the course of this story. Her friend Eve pushes her out of her comfort zone a lot, but I feel like Cayden is the real reason why Lily comes out of her shell.
