Sí esperaba un final más cerrado al ser este el último libro de la serie, creo que todavía me falta uno donde aparece también, pero son relatos y entre otros personajes aparece Poirot, así que quedará para después.
En cuanto a la trama, como el libro pasado, se trata de un crimen que ocurrió hace casi 20 años pero no hay culpable, la versión oficial es que la muchacha se fugo a otro país con un hombre y no se ha vuelto a saber de ella. En la actualidad Gwenda y Giles son un matrimonio recién casado y ella, mientras lo espera a él, compra una casa pero le empiezan a pasar cosas extrañas como adivinar que en tal parte había una puerta cuando no hay ni rastro de ella. El caso es que todo esto tiene una explicación, a la cual llega por medio de mis Marple,que por amigos en común son presentadas. Apartir de este momento empiezan a indagar y a mover aguas que alguien quería quietas.

La historia trata de un tigre que empieza a asolar una región de Rusia, empieza por un pueblo masacrado a todos sus habitantes y continúa avanzando y de un joven que tras la puesta del precio por la cabeza del tigre sale en su búsqueda. Es ciencia ficción, un futuro donde hay un programa que elige según algoritmos las mejores decisiones. Las mujeres controlan o tienen los mejores trabajos mientras los hombres trabajan en las granjas, como soldados o en la construcción, está hormonizados para quitarles la "violencia". En esto el protagonista es reclutado por la organización militar para rescatar a la creadora del programa que decide por ellos, está conectada y su mente no puede volver. De momento solo es un cascarón. A medida que avanza el libro nos van contando más detalles y van surgiendo nuevos narradores que de una o otra forma tienen que ver en la misión.
Que no me gustó, que terminara abierto y lo exagerado para el papel del hombre en este mundo. Sobre todo cuando hablan de la familia de Danii o lo que son como ella. Que si me gustó, que no me parecería raro que llegáramos al punto que narra el libro. Un mundo virtual donde se conecta tu conciencia, la publicidad llega a tal nivel que si dicen que el azul es la nueva moda todos se visten así, que incluso cambien a nivel neuronal, la dieta neuroquimica creo que era el concepto. Algo así como, este año hay que ser más creativos entonces se alteran a nivel cerebral para aumentar la creatividad y bajar el nivel lógico.

Me gustó, me hizo reír por lo absurdo y algunos comentarios que se mandaban pero en ciertas ocasiones me desconectaba un poco de la lectura, no disfruté todo el libro de la misma manera desconozco si fue el libro o fui yo como lectora.
Me gustó la edición que leí, tenía una introducción donde me explicaron cuál fue el origen de esta historia, su vida y obra. Que era zurdo y tenía tartamudez. Hubo un detalle que no sonó muy bien, yo no quería pensar mal en serio XD pero el que escribió el prólogo o el que lo tradujo no lo pensó bien, puso que Lewis tenía adicción por las niñas pequeñas, nada más. Aparte de que la historia se la dedica a Alicia Liddell una de las hermanas a quien les invento el primer boceto una tarde en uno de sus paseos (tenía unos 5 años creo) Pero bueno, no encontré más información en internet y luego me fui por las ramas y dado que Lewis fue también matemático llegué de la nada a otra historia xd Hepatia, la primera o de las primeras mujeres en ser importante en el campo de las matemáticas aunque no tuvo un final muy bonito. En fin.
Entrando en la historia, también fueron dejando muchas notitas que explicaban frases, usaba muchos juegos de palabras para crear confusiones en los diálogos de los personajes y como eso solo se entiende en la versión original lo agradecí mucho ya que me permitía entenderlo. Es bastante absurdo debió ser chistoso cuando salió en su época, en la introducción mencionan que fue de los primeros textos en usar este recurso y eso obviamente da pie para que más tarde surgan más sobre todo si gustan.
En comparación a la película no puedo decir mucho porque no recuerdo haberla visto. Si ví la versión con Johnny Deep pero en teoría esa historia es volver luego de su viaje de niña.

Con esto no quiero decir que el libro sea bueno o no pero si me siento decepcionada y por ende no puedo ser objetiva, no me gusta leer algo creyendo que se trata de otra cosa xd
Otra cosa que querías comentar antes de es que entendí que es un libro italiano, pero al leerlo usaba demasiados "términos chilenos", yo no sé, y la verdad tampoco me interesa buscar, si cuando hicieron la traducción adaptaron el lenguaje a la forma en que se habla acá. Lou sigue en su viaje, ahora está en Nueva York después de una increíble oferta de trabajo haciendo algo similar a lo que hacía con Will pero está vez para una mujer. Tiene que enfrentarse a un romance a larga distancia con su reciente novio y a acostumbrarse a su nuevo ritmo de vida mientras sigue descubriendo lo que quiere hacer con su vida. De esta forma tiene altibajos, nuevas aventuras, conoce otros personajes, etc.
No me gustaron sus intereses amorosos, ni que el nuevo se pareciese tanto a Will en lo físico. En realidad lo único que destacó es el aporte de Margot en la trama, en mi opinión fue lo mejor del libro. La ayudo a definirse y elegir lo que de verdad quería hacer de su vida aunque bueno recién está empezando, todavía le queda un largo camino y eso es lo que quedó a la imaginación. Por lo demás no sentí mucho al leer este libro, sinceramente me gustó más la película aunque casi no tenga nada que ver con el libro. Si es una Alicia que vuelve al país de las maravillas cruzando un espejo pero lo hace cuando tiene siete años, en el primer libro tenía 5 años aprox. Hay una partida de ajedrez, dos reinas la roja y la blanca, varias piezas más. Ya el tema es sensible, como los anteriores trata del tiempo en auschwitz, un poco de la historia pasada y otro poco de la futura. Tenía dudas si era como el libro de Lale, escrito en base a un testimonio directo, o como el de Cilka, que fue construida como ficción a partir de una historia real. Era el primer caso, al final hay unos pequeños comentarios de familiares directos y el de una hermana, aparte de las fotos familiares y una escultura que hicieron un nieto creo y su esposa en homenaje a ellas y a los demás. Fue bonito ver las fotos.
El libro está dividido en tres partes, la primera describe la vida de las chicas antes de Auschwitz, la segunda describe lo que vivió parte de la familia en el campo de concentración y la otra tratando de sobrevivir para no ir allá (son menos estos capítulos, dos o tres aprox) y la última narra lo que pasó con las hermanas una vez terminada la guerra.
Las dos primeras partes me las leí de tirón, la última se me hizo un poco aburrida. No me quiero meter con la historia porque es real, quizás este un poquito adornada al pasarla al papel por los años que pasaron (tomar en cuenta que toda la historia le fue referida a la escritora unos añitos antes de ser publicado este libro, donde fue la familia y las tres hermanas las que contaron todo lo sucedido de acuerdo a lo que recordaban) pero sigue siendo algo real, un viaje de supervivencia y amor filial. En consecuencia, me queda la narración, la forma de contarme la historia, y en lo personal siento que le faltó esa chispa, el hacerte sentir todo lo que está realidad te puede hacer sentir....more

Las historia va de tres mujeres en tres líneas temporales distintas, dos están espaciadas por al menos 50 años y la otra es como de hace 400 años aprox. Cada una tiene un conflicto y a medida que transcurre la historia vemos como eso va avanzando y que a larga se empiezan a conectar.
Los personajes principales estuvieron bien, me gustaron las tres aunque si tuviera que elegir una me decantaría por Violet, además que Graham también me gustó mucho xd Pero (view spoiler)[ en cuanto a la representación masculina, salvo el hermano de Violet y la breve mención al padre de Kate, es obvio que están en el libro solo para que te caigan mal xd y esto fue una de las cosas que no me gustó mucho en el libro. Osea soy muy consciente de como era la vida en los tiempos de Altha, las mujeres que tenían conocimientos en plantas medicinales u otros era a usadas de brujería y les daban malos tratos aunque fueran inocentes, porque la palabra de los hombres valía más. Incluso las mujeres "normales" como Grace sufrían de golpes y otras cosas por sus maridos, padres, etc y que incluso en estos tiempo todavía sigue pasando aunque al menos en menos frecuente y hay cierto amparo. Pero que en toda la obra, o casi toda por las excepciones, se juegue con la idea de uyqe todos los hombres son malos y solo sirven para plantar la semilla xd no me parece muy correcto y que conste qué igual me considero feminista. Por lo demás, el último 1/4 del libro se me hizo un poco más grato y aunque hubo un detalle en el epílogo que no me gustó en cierta forma si se explica y a fin de cuentas me gustó el final.
Pd: no me convence mucho como realismo mágico de lo que recuerdo que significa xd para mi es más fantasía pero dado que esta catalogado así lo pondré para la categoría. Hice un pequeño ajuste porque leeré otro libro que si tiene realismo mágico jeje pero para no perderlo escogí otra categoría.

Al principio me costó un poco reconocer cuando desaparecían de escena algunos o entraban otros. En la narración, utilizaba un lenguaje que no iba al grano XD demasiadas figuras, muy rebuscado y giraban mucho en torno a un mismo tema osea lo decían y luego repetían de otra forma pero era lo mismo. Se me hizo tedioso, sin tanta palabrería no es un mal tema, una pareja, una mujer que toma el papel de juntarlos sea como sea, otros personajes que también tienen su papel, ambición, muertes, etc me gustó jajaja el problema fue todo lo que "adornaba" esa trama.
