I really need to read this
It's sooo good!! Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was at all. It's one of those books you finish and then continue to dwell on for weeks

I’ve been trying to explain this plot to my best friend but like you said it’s hard to explain what it’s about but your first few paragraphs sum it up better than any other review I’ve seen so I sent her a screenshot. Hahaha.
"this book starts and it's like: hello bitches, welcome to murder club. Here is Bunny, he is dead, he got murdered. strap the fuck in." This ALONE just sold me this book. I'm dying!
Jamieson. I concur with all that you say. It's not funny, but there are funny things described in it. No one seems to comment on these but they did lighten the load for me at certain points. Standouts are when Julian and Richard are discussing the possibility of Bunny having a religious conversion. 'the Roman Church is a powerful and worthy foe but we would hate to lose him to the Presbyterians.' And the description of the outpouring of collective grief at the college, particularly the instability it evoked. the description of the occasion when everyone thought the end was nigh is pricelessley funny.
