The joke is on us!
This comic book issue of "Batman" #50, is the "Wedding Issue" where it's supposed to get married Batman and Catwoman.

Plus a galaxy of invited artists doing pin-ups celebrating the love of Batman & Catwoman.

I wasn't reading the events leading to the bat-wedding but I couldn't resist to buy the 50th issue.
I thought that while it was advertised as "The Wedding of Batman & Catwoman", I supposed that it was actually the wedding of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, but nope...
...it seems that it was indeed Batman and Catwoman, their alter-egos whom to be married!
Geez!
What? Bruce would ruin the good name of Wayne if getting married with a cat-burglar, well, okay, it could be odd indeed, but still, if she promised of not doing anything bad anymore, well why not?!
During the issue, you can read the wedding vows of both, Bruce and Selina, along with a pin-up gallery of talents celebrating the union of them.
A hug between Alfred and Bruce, when the latter ask the first to be his best man, it's the best in the entire issue. Emotive beyond words.
However, it's not rare that millions of readers hated this issue, due how the manage the "climax" of the wedding...
...since nothing like fooling the readers that they were buying A LOT of previous issues, tie-in issues, and etc...
...for getting that.
So much money investment, for so few rewarding.
Not good, Tom.
Nobody was demanding for a wedding, but if you announced...
...it's better of truly doing it!

Good review Alejandro. Both Marvel and DC have had terrible wedding specials this year. I think they should lay off of them for a long while.
