really liked it
bookshelves: ya, romance, realistic

Read this in grad school in the middle of a project on clique lit. Really well written slim volume about misplaced romance, with lots of bee references. ;)

Raina Yeah. Nothing particularly out of the heteronormative realm, though. It's been a long time since I read it, but I remember being impressed, and I've perked up every time I've seen one of her books since. Of course, that could be because it was in contrast to Gossip Girl. ;)

I'm not reading the Modern Library list or anything impressive. A local librarian issued a challenge to read across genres. I tend to get stuck in one or two genres at a time, so I thought it would be good.
