WHEN ANGELS COME IN | 4 Stars
On a dare, a boy and his friend explored the notorious house on the hill where animals and children never came back from. What they found inside would forever change their lives. This one was creepy and heart-thumping. I loved the atmosphere, but the ending was too abrupt.

THE ANCESTORS | 4.5 Stars
"The toys are only playing."
Yuki’s family seeks solace in the countryside. But what they got was more than they bargained for. This one is my favorite in this collection. It was somewhat sweet and heartwarming with a sinister undertone.

FLORRIE | 2.5 Stars
As first-time home owner, Frank was ecstatic to update his severely outdated property. While in the process of remodeling, traces of the previous owner brought upon an unexpected nostalgia and a change of heart. Unfortunately, this story's slow pace and limited intrigue failed to captivate my interest.

Before You Sleep is a collection of three short horror stories, providing an ideal companion for those in search of quick, spine-chilling reads.
