Alice Feeney has become a favorite reliable author for me over the years. I was excited to learn that she had written a new book, Good Bad Girl. I got to listen to the audiobook that was very well narrated by Katharine Press and Stephanie Racine. Good Bad Girl was captivating and twisty. This well plotted novel centered around the abduction of a six month old baby girl and a murder at a senior care facility. The chapters alternated between past and present and were told from the perspective of two different mothers and daughters on Mother’s Day twenty years apart. The many characters proved to be quite overwhelming and a bit confusing in the beginning but eventually they all came together. I applaud Alice Feeney for the unconventional way she wrote Good Bad Girl. It started with the ending and ended with the beginning. Good Bad Girl kept me guessing right up until the surprising ending. Alice Feeney has proved again what a masterful storyteller she is. I highly recommend this book.
