Maya really had no right to go that hard but okay. 😭
This was wonderfully heartbreaking and heartwarming.
A perfect telling of love after loss in an unconventional way. I am a strong supporter of the boyfriend for hire trope in MM romance and this gave me everything I wanted and more.
It’s like, 136 pages? It felt like 300 in the best way. The detail, the pacing.
At around 46% I found myself thinking that I had to have read at least 150 pages and I was so wrong. Maya found a way to build a world and two characters, WITH DEPTH, in like 20 pages.
It’s really just not fair how good this is. 🤷🏻♀️
