Honestly it took me a good ten seconds to realize the tiger on the cover has eyes. I thought they were part of the nose. And in many illustrations the tiger looks more like a baggy costume than an actual tiger. I just didn’t love the illustrations. The story is rather fun though! Tiger doesn’t like worms and worms don’t like tiger… Until the worms read a book about tigers and learn about them.
It’s a decent read but I expected a bit more from a Geisel Honor Book.
