➼ 3 ☆ spoiler free 📹
↳ nothing new, nothing special, but just what i needed to confirm im out of my slump! something you can binge and read in a day while it still being mysterious <3 i will say when i found out what happened i wasn't spooked and my jaw wasn't on the floor. so that took things away. and i feel no attachment to the characters, but i understand them, yk? and augh the ending, i feel like i need a sequel, I HAVE QUESTIONS. 😭😭
↳ it was just like when i read five survive by holly jackson, and wanted more closure. ifykyk!!
↳ i will say im glad i found her books this year and i do recommend her to YA readers, i just have other authors i gravitate more towards in this genre !! but her more popular series one of us is lying i have a connection with some of the characters <3 overall a fun read, kind of lame at times, but i found myself laughing sooo! and thank you for all the other thriller/mystery recs ! 💌

oh naur reading a book where you don't feel any attachment to the characters is the worst ngl 😭 and plus.. the fact that the twist didn't make your jaw drop just makes things worser cuz that's the whole point of a thriller/mystery book lmao 💀 aah this doesn't sound very good so i'll def skip it, it's not really my cuppa anyways. still, i'm glad you didn't fully hate it and yay it helped you with your slump so cheers to that teehee 😌🫶🏼 hope your cr is way better my precious ellie!! ilysm 🥹🤍🫂

it's so true omg, i've read multiple books from this author and they all feel average and the same, also the closure????? i can't even remember who committed the crime :( hope your next read is better!
