Hah hah, we were just having this conversation over on my review. Someone was upset because (view spoiler)[their interpretation of the book was that this is a case of destiny triumphing over free will. But I disagree as far as Clara goes, she has fought very hard against giving into her "fate" in both books. (hide spoiler)] Maybe we can discuss a bit more after you've finished? I don't want to ruin things accidentally by referring to events you haven't gotten to yet.
