I spent the last half of this book, heart pounding, convinced I knew what would happen.
I was wrong. I was bereft when I read one scene, I had to reread it several times to make sure I was comprehending it. It does set up a great segue into the next JF book.
The real hero of Angels in the Snow is Paxton. I admire her grit and smarts. I wouldn’t be able to be that collected in the same situation. I also liked that she worked at the Golden Arches because I spent 6 years of my life working both grill and front line.
Although the weather outside was frightful, this latest JF book was so delicious delightful.
Don’t make me wait too long for the next one!
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the early read.

Many thanks to both Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of Angels in the Snow. This book is #8 in the Detective Jo Fournier series and the expected publication date is November 8, 2023.

When Detective Jo Fournier’s cousin goes missing, along with her sweet five-year-old Alexia, Jo heads straight to where they were last seen. Her heart stops when she finds their unlocked car—one door has been left open and Alexia’s beloved teddy is lying in the snow.

This is the first book I've read by this author and it won't be the last. I couldn't put Angels in the Snow down! Jo Fournier and her partner Bob Arnett head up a fabulous team. Not one of them held back in the search of finding out what had happened to Jo's cousins.

Angels in the Snow flipped back and forth between the kidnapper's side of the story and Jo's, which added to the already nerve-wracking tension. It's a gripping story that will also tug on your heartstrings. I recommend it!

Things that appear simple are often not as simple as they appear. Such as is the case in this book. What appears to be a simple kidnapping is anything but simple. Detective Jo Fournier is with her family preparing for the holidays when her family gets a call that her cousin, Paxton, and young daughter, Alexia, never returned from a shopping trip to the mall. Their worse nightmare comes to life when they find her car abandoned in the parking lot with the door ajar and the truck open. The final clue is a small stuffed animal that Alexia carried everywhere. The team starts investigating immediately, all the while thinking this is a singular event. When the team finds out a young mother and daughter were buried with an angel ornament, the antenna goes up as they quickly realize that this is eerily similar to the current case.

As the story unfolds, you will get a birds eye view inside the mind of the kidnapper, as the kidnapper recalls the past and how he got where he is today. Mommy issues do not even begin to describe this poor soul. There are also chapters interspersed throughout that are based solely on Paxton trying to outwit her captor and protect her daughter, all while trying to figure out a way to escape. She is fighting some inner voices herself as you will see when you read this book. This was a race against time as they knew time was not on their side in a kidnapping case.

The latter portions of the book really picked up steam and more clues are revealed explaining how we have gotten where are today in this story. It was a really sad story for all involved. M. M. Chouinard is a wonderful storyteller who knows how to add emotional depth to her stories, which is often not accomplished in a book that I would consider a thriller/mystery. She handles these emotions and hot button topics with grace. I enjoy the characters in this series. Jo Fournier is one of my favorite female characters as she is highly intelligent, fearless and very good at her job, but she is also not afraid to show her emotions, which make her more real to me as the reader. This is another winner for M.M. Chouinard.

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Disclaimer:
Right up front I am going to tell you: parts of the book made me upset. I can't really tell you why because that is giving away part of the story. What I can tell you is that my uncomfortableness of where the story was going was resolved satisfactorily by the end of the book. The concern and misconception I was worried about was plainly explained and pointed out to not be the root of the crimes. That being said, I highly recommend reading the author's note after you've read this book. I finished it thinking the author had the same hesitations as myself and wanted to clearly draw a distinction between what is and isn't mental illness and what is considered as atypical behavior. Okay, that's as good as I can get without spoiling parts of the book. Please don't jump to conclusions while reading and give the story and characters the chance to play out.

Review:
As is probably evident by my super long disclaimer above, this book gave me lots to think about during the course of reading it. I loved the mistaken paths and the further development of Jo's character. I enjoyed the time and space taken to develop characters that may not continue to play a large role in the series. I especially enjoyed how the victim and perpetrator both had to deal with internal negative voices. It provided a great comparison as to how the same situation can impact people differently. It is these details that makes these stories so engaging! The plot itself was super smart and well thought out. I can tell the author stepped carefully in her presentation of some of the characters and most people will know who the kidnapper is early enough on to follow the clues and want to yell answers out to Jo. I really enjoyed this book and what it brought to the series!

Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for a copy of the book. This review is my own opinion.

4.5⭐

Detective Jo Fournier returns with a story that is extremely personal to her. When out Christmas tree shopping with her nieces, sister, brother-in-law, mum and partner Matt. Her mum receives a distressing phone call alerting them that Jo's cousin Paxton and daughter Alexia have gone missing.

However, not everyone in the family is convinced that this is true. Due to Paxton's past history of running away. But her mother is sure something terrible has happened.

And so Jo heads to her last known location in search of Paxton and Alexia, and what she finds chills her to the bone. As it's clear, her family has been kidnapped.

Which leaves Jo determined to do everything possible to bring them home, especially in light of her aunt's sad diagnosis.

And as the investigation gets underway. There are shocking details that come to light, including other missing mother-daughter cases, and Jo has no doubt that they are connected.

But is it possible for Jo to find the answers before it's too late? Or Is Paxton capable of finding a way for her and Alexia to survive on their own?

And with a multitude of twists and turns. A prologue that literally gave me chills and a killer who I actually felt sorry for. This was an enjoyable and intriguing read. That I would happily recommend to others.

Furthermore, I was impressed by M.M. Chouinard's exceptional handling of mental health issues and topics like asexuality and I recommend that anyone reading Angels in the Snow read her author notes at the end to gain additional information.

My thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an early copy of Angels in the Snow.  😊

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this gut churning book

Detective Jo Fournier gets a phone call that her cousin and daughter are missing and has been for couple of hours.... as its her mother calling jo isnt to worried at first as this isnt the first time her cousin went missing, but the scene tells another story and its not long before jo calls in the troups....

as more and more evidence is uncovered it becomes apparent that her cousin and daughter have been abducted and with it being linked to other mother and daughter abductions, the race has started to try and find them before they wind up dead...

oh my goodness me this is a heartstopper of a ride to be on... on one hand it was great catching up with jo and her colleagues and heart wrenching with the abduction and the perp...

that last chapter is heartbreaking.. and i cant wait for the next book in this brilliant series

Angels in the Snow (Detective Jo Fournier Book 8) by M.M. Chouinard is so good!! I did not want this story to end. It was quite the gripping crime thriller that did have a nail-biting ending.

When Detective Jo Fournier’s cousin goes missing with her sweet five-year-old Alexia, Jo heads straight to where they were last seen. Her heart stops when she finds their unlocked car—one door has been left open and Alexia’s beloved teddy is lying in the snow. Jo’s blood runs cold as she realizes her family have been kidnapped…

Jo and her team are excellent. The dialogue is great, the interactions are realistic and believable, and the characters are credible.

The story was so twisty and kept me guessing on who was involved and how it would eventually end. The story was sad and made me cry at the end.

I was able to read this book in one sitting; it was so intense and kept you wanting more, but I was also sad to say goodbye (for now) to these characters. I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for Jo and her team next.

I highly recommend this book, this author, and this series.

This was my first read by this author and it wont be the last. I wanted to read it primarily based on the cover and the description and I wasn't disappointed. It didn't really matter that I was coming in late but I think it would have added more for me if I had read the others. The reasoning was that it was more about the victims and I liked that rather than being a normal police procedural.
I read this in one setting it was that addictive.

I was given an advance copy by bookouture and netgalley but the review is entirely my own.

Another speedy read about detective Jo Fournier! I loved the POV switches between Jo, Paxton, and suspect… it made for a story that built tension throughout and kept me on my toes until I could get back in another person’s shoes and that part of the storyline.

I will say, I didn’t like the ending of this one unfortunately. Was sad for many reasons… Matt, Paxton, Alexia… I felt disappointed and I didn’t get the same level of excitement and pace as I have reading the previous books this series. It fell a bit flat for me.

As usual, I look forward to the next Jo book!

This is the first book that I have read in this series, but it definitely won’t be the last as I am a newly devoted fan to Detective Jo Fournier. In this book, Jo is personally involved with a crime since her cousins are kidnapped and she is desperate to find them before it is too late. The book combines the genres of police procedural with family drama and high suspense. The pace is fast and furious as Jo races find Paxton and little Alexia, with lots of roadblocks and false clues along the way. The characters are realistic and the narrator switches between the police investigation to the perpetrator and his expectations for his captives. It was interesting to read how determined Paxton was to keep her and Alexia safe and play along with the “game” of the captor until she could figure out a possible way to escape. The setting was eerie, just creepy enough to give me chills, and the action was pulse pounding and realistic. I especially enjoyed how methodical Jo was in her investigation, following clues relentlessly. Because the victims are young and innocent, the book appealed to my need to see a quick and happy resolution. The crime was not the first one for this perpetrator though so there are a lot of red herrings and false trails for Jo and her team to follow before they find the right one. My favorite part of the book was the insight into the thought processes of the investigators and how tenacious they were. This book is enjoyable, compelling and intense with some clever twists and a satisfying conclusion.

I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

M.M. Chouinard is the author of the Detective Jo Fournier mystery thrillers, and the standalone mystery thriller The Vacation. Her first fiction story was published in her local paper when she was eight, and she fell in love with Agatha Christie novels not long after. While pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology and helping to found the first U.S. research university of the new millennium, the stories kept rattling around inside her skull, demanding to come out. For sanity's sake, she released them.

“What does the famous Fournier instinct say?”

I officially have a new favorite Jo novel. From the beginning, this book captivated and held me hostage. With a terrifying and fast-paced plot, this story kept me on the edge of my seat.

The gang is here, and some serious twists will leave you speechless. If you are a long-time reader of this series, immediately preorder this book. I promise you it’s worth it!

Something I love about M.M. Is that she will usually have a social focal point within her books. And she uses this platform to inform, explain, and provide some (book-based) justice.

I love that she tackled mental illness, asexuality, complicated family dynamics, and the power of words with this story. Told through alternating perspectives, we rotate between these characters and, ultimately, realize there may not have been as many differences as we initially thought.

The note from Chouinard at the end (do not read until after you have finished the book, as there are noted spoilers) is beautifully written and contains a powerful message.

The end of this book made me cry. It healed some wounds from previous books, and I am beyond excited to see how this story will continue.

Also, brief fangirl moment, but it will never get old seeing the talented Michelle Chouinard thank me in her acknowledgments. I found these books through a group on Facebook and, connected with Michelle on social media, and have built a friendship. I adore this brilliant human and am so honored to have any part in her storytelling journey.

I didn't finish this one. Only got about 10% in. The shocking revelation that ends the first chapter isn't surprising at all, but that's okay. Every genre has its tropes. I think maybe it's just that I tried starting this series with this book. It feels like I'm suddenly in the middle of a big family gathering that I was taken along to--but I don't know anybody, and nobody cares that I'm there. The scene-to-scene writing feels strong, so I'm thinking that it just works better as part of a whole than as a standalone book.

Here is a series that just gets better and better. Angels in the Snow by
M.M. Chouinard is the eighth book in the Detective Jo Fournier series and what another brilliant book this was.

This book is personal to Detective Jo Fournier when she is making memories and is out Christmas tree shopping with her mum, sister, nieces, brother-in-law, and partner Matt. All of a sudden her mum receives a distressing phone call which alerts them that Jo's cousin Paxton and daughter Alexia who is five have gone missing.

Not everyone believes the disturbing phone call especially as Paxton has history of running away, but this feels different and her mother is sure something terrible has happened to them both.

Detective Jo Fournier heads for Paxton's and Alexia last location, her heart stops when she finds their unlocked car, with one door that has been left open and Alexia’s beloved teddy is lying in the snow. Teddy goes everywhere with Alexia. Then, Jo’s blood runs cold as she realises her family has been kidnapped…

Whilst Jo is investigating she makes a discovery that chills her, other young, single mothers have vanished with their little daughters just before Christmas.

Jo is determined to do everything possible to bring them home, before it's too late. She wants all her family home for Christmas especially as her aunt's time os running out to make family memories.

Jo and her team re-open's the cold cases to find out clues that will help them find Paxton and Alexia, but, they make a terrible discovery. Buried deep under the snow in the forest near Oakhurst are the bones of a mother and daughter who disappeared. The snowy grave contains a little angel, the kind you would hang on a Christmas tree.

This book was so good I loved it and was hooked form the beginning till the very end.......Great book for this time of year. Great roller coaster ride Angels in the Snow was......

Just excellent! I highly recommend this series another 5 star book.

Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for this ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I don't even need to read an M.M Chouinard book again, I just have to say it's good, you should read it! I've never been disappointed in any of her Jo Fournier Series and it's number 9 mow. It's another Detective Jo Fournier book, and I loved it even though I didn't like the ending.
👮🏼‍♀️👮🏼‍♀️
This book started at a fast pace as usual with Jo's cousin and her daughter were kidnapped, the book just kicked off like a rocket. Unsurprisingly, Jo turned all the stones in this case, she was as diligent as before. I felt like this case was harder because there was literally no evidence on the scene. So, I liked the unveiling of the perp. I think the perp got off easy, but I still understand it in a way.
👮🏼‍♀️👮🏼‍♀️
Paxton, the victim and mother of Alexia. She was very brave doing all she did. She was already mentally abused by her father, and she worked hard to let go of that trauma to save herself and her child, commendable! One of the things I'd have wanted for her was closure. I wished I had read her father getting punished for what he did. In addition, I also admire the previous mothers who tried to unsuccessfully escape, but still paved a way for others to escape.
👮🏼‍♀️👮🏼‍♀️
Jo was amazing as usual, but I didn't really get any of 'her and Matt's time, and I wanted that. I'd love to read the next book (obviously) because Jo got a new 'something' and I'd like to see what's next for her.
👮🏼‍♀️👮🏼‍♀️
Regardless, this book was very, very good. Now, tell me why you haven't read any of Detective Jo Fournier Series? It's very good and I promise you won't regret it

🛍👩‍👧Shopping malls & missing dolls: what a horrible holiday "gift"!🎅

Wow! A really gripping mystery and the writing was spot on--not too descriptive or internal but I could really peer into the head of Jo's missing cousin, who's in a fight for her and her young daughter Alexia's lives. The plot is especially charged because going to the mall for Christmas shopping and to see Santa is something just about everyone does, never thinking it might all go peared-shaped in a matter of a few minutes and one kind but wrong decision.

The suspense attached to the kidnapping continues through almost to the action climax and there are more than a few twists. The total picture of how and why they disappeared comes together in bits and pieces throughout the narrative. I really was not expecting the way the story ended and I enjoy a mystery that throws me off but in a way that, after the truth is revealed, I can totally get it.

This was my first time reading a book by the author and I believe I could really get into this series. I liked Jo the detective, who has some issues at home but they don't take the focus away from the case. Of course, having the missing mother and child as close relatives makes their disappearance more personal but I never doubted that Jo Fournier would be just as dedicated to finding them if they were strangers, as her deepening the investigation to search for similar cases possibly connected demonstrates.

I found Angels in the Snow a fascinating, page-turner story and would strongly recommend it to police procedural mystery lovers.

Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

"Angels in the Snow" by M.M. Chouinard is a gripping and suspenseful thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I found it to be a compelling read, and I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The story follows Detective Jo Fournier as she races against time to find her missing cousin and her young daughter. The opening scene, with Jo searching for footprints in an empty parking lot in the cold, immediately grabs your attention and sets the tone for the rest of the book. The sense of urgency and desperation is palpable from the very beginning. Chouinard's writing style is engaging, and she knows how to build and maintain tension throughout the story. The discovery of other missing mothers and daughters in the snowy forest near Oakhurst adds a layer of complexity and intrigue to the plot. The author's ability to weave multiple storylines together is impressive. The character of Detective Jo Fournier is well-developed, and I appreciated her determination and the depth of her emotions as she searches for her family. The supporting characters are also interesting, adding depth to the narrative. The book keeps you guessing, and the twists and turns in the investigation are well-executed. My only minor gripe is that the resolution felt a bit rushed, and some loose ends could have been tied up more satisfactorily. However, this didn't detract significantly from the overall enjoyment of the book. I also can’t wait to see what happens in the next book after the unexpected, but heartwarming, twist at the end. Thanks to Ms Chouinard, the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review

Angels in the Snow by MM Chouinard is a very personal crime to Detective Jo Fournier. It is her cousin and her little girl who are missing. Jo and Arnett take a deep dive into the mall and its employees and its parking lot to find the missing woman and girl. Meanwhile, Paxton wakes up chained to the wall, with Alexia chained next to her. All she can think is escape, but looking around, nothing seems obvious. Jo focuses on the Santa and on a toy store clerk. Her other suspect is the girl’s father, a semi-recovering drug addict who has been trying to gain custody. She quickly has to rule him out for many reasons, but is still considering his friends, one of whom had been a picture-taking elf at the Santa display. Everyone is on this, knowing how personal it is to Jo and what a compelling crime it is.

At home, something is off with Matt, and Jo has been so busy she hasn’t had time to talk to him and figure out the problem. She loves him and this is the first time in over twenty years she has opened up to anyone. Is it over already? Jo is not a young woman, but she is a smart one and when she is in the middle of a crime, she has room for nothing else. Matt is kind of like that, as well, one of the reasons they clicked. This mystery, looking for Paxton and Alexia, even though statistics say they are probably already dead, has really got her wound up. It is a good mystery and Jo Fournier is an excellent character. A reader could do so much worse with a police procedural. This is a good choice.

I always love reading about Jo solving cases. But I should warn this one was a little difficult to read at times. Please check for trigger warnings if you have any.

This one is personal for Jo, when her cousin and her daughter go missing. There are multiple POVs including one from the bad guy. Those chapters are very conversational and include what has happened in their past to get to where they are today and their side of the story.

The pace started out slow and steady and then ramped up in intensity by the end. There is a little less balance between work and home life for Jo in this one, but there is a deeply personal moment between Jo and Matt and a little of the family’s reaction to the missing cousin. And the story ends with a bittersweet moment.

And definitely make sure to read the author’s letter at the end of the story, but only after you’ve finished as it contains spoilers. But it does go into some of the psychology of the book. It really added to my appreciation of the plot.

If you are looking for a great police procedural that occurs during the holidays, look no further. While this is book 8 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone, but I’d like to mention how great the series and the character development is over the course of all the books and you won’t be disappointed in reading them all.

‘Angels in the Snow’ features Detective Josette Fournier preparing for Christmas when she receives a call that her cousin, Paxton, and her five-year-old daughter, Alexia, have not come home from the local Mall. Jo races to the Mall, only to find Paxton’s car door left open in the parking lot, and Alexia’s teddy lying in the snow. Fearing they have been abducted from the Mall, Jo Fournier her team race against time to find her family members, hoping against hope they are still alive. As the facts come to light, Jo Fournier is alarmed to think her cousin’s abduction might be related to other cases of missing mothers and daughters before Christmas.

Right from the creepy prologue, ‘Angels in the Snow’ is a charged police procedural / suspense thriller with multiple twists and turns, and a twist at the ending. There are some potentially triggering scenes (warranting a trigger warning), and a personality disorder that keeps the interest going.
The work-life balance strains Jo as Matt seems to be keeping some of his internal demons to himself. #AngelsintheSnow. Thank you to #NetGalley and Bookouture for an advanced reader’s copy for my review.

Josette Fournier is back & this time the case is close to home. Her cousin Paxton & her young daughter have gone missing. Could it be that Paxton ran off again but Josette knows that something is wrong. But is she too close to the case for her to use her judgement.?
Paxton knows that she has to be strong or else she will never be able to save Alexia but long can she hold on for?
Josette knows that she is close to finding them but will she be too late?
Jo is trying to be strong & focused but things haven’t been great at home. She is worried about Matt as he seems to be pulling away. She isn’t too sure how to handle them at the moment. Is this the end of the road for them or just a bump in the road?
Another great read in the series. What I like about the books is that Jo is independent yet she allowed Matt in and that has taken a lot for her. She never gives up on her cases even if it means taking too much on. Her partner Arnett is a good cop that always has her back. Matt is complicated he has his own demons that he needs to fight.
Thank you Netgalley & the publisher for the copy. This is my voluntary review.

I am so happy Jo invited us into her life again. I am glad so see she is still as determined as before and I like the way her personal life seems to move into a satisfactory direction.

Usually with books where the main character is a detective, the focus often is on the police investigation. I had the feeling the author moved that focus to put the spotlight more on the actions of the victim and the sad story of the culprit. Don't get me wrong, we still get to enjoy the teamwork between Jo and Bob and the other members of the police force, spitting through everything and making the pieces fall together.

I liked the switching of the points of view from the different characters. I make me feel more alert somehow.

There is no way you cannot love lioness Paxton...

Another amazing series I adore reading! Bring on book 9, please. I cannot wait to find out how this is going to continue. 5 stars

Thank you

For me, the story started off a bit slow....but then it really took off and wow! Lots and lots of threads to weave together and Jo and her partner Bob did a great job (along with their team, of course) of solving the case of Jo's missing cousin Paxton and her little girl Alexia.

Jo fears that there is a serial killer at work when she hears about other cases which sound similar and she worries that even if she finds her cousins, it might be too late to save their lives. There is more to the case than it appears though, and it is good, old-fashioned detective work which solves it.

There are some confronting scenes (it wouldn't be a detective novel without it, probably) but also an examination of a personality trait that is uncommon but that deserves a look. I can't say any more than this otherwise I will spoil the plot but kudos to the author for mentioning it.

4.5 stars from me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture.

Angels in the Snow starts out with a bang!
Detective Jo Fournier is stunned to find out her cousin and young daughter have been abducted when they go on a trip to the local Mall.
Jo and her team race to figure out what is going on. As more facts are come to light, Jo is shocked with what she discovers. Can her cousins abduction be related to other mother-daughter missing cases?
A very suspenseful story with a very surprising ending.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
Though you could certainly read Angels in the Snow as a standalone, I do recommend reading the series in order. There is so much backstory to the characters that is important to know.
Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and the author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is a brilliant crime thriller.
Jo is called when her cousin and her five year old daughter don’t arrive home. At first she thinks it’s her Aunt worrying over nothing, but when she gets to the shopping mall she finds her cousin’s car unlocked and the door ajar. Most worrying is finding Alexia’s beloved teddy bear on the floor by the car.
The hunt for the mother and daughter gets underway and while Jo and Arnett are investigating, it comes to light that other mothers and daughters have also gone missing.
We have chapters from Paxton and Alexia and it’s clear Paxton will do anything to get her and her daughter out alive.
There’s also chapters from the kidnapper who is clearly very troubled.
This is a fast paced crime thriller that I really enjoyed.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Detective Jo Fournier book 8.

Even as she swears to bring them home, Jo makes a discovery that chills her to the bone: other young, single mothers have vanished with their little daughters just before Christmas. Can Jo find them before the unthinkable happens?

This is a fast paced thriller that had me hooked from the creepy prologue. A great police procedural that grabs your attention from the start and doesn't let go. I loved this book and can't wait to read more.

Angels in the Snow is the 8th book in the Detective Jo Fournier series by M.M. Chouinard. I have not read the previous books in the series but will definitely be correcting that! This book was so different from other mysteries I’ve read, and I loved it!!!! This was easy to read as a standalone mystery!

This book was gut-wrenchingly good!!! It is fast paced and had me feeling all sorts of things! This book took me on such an emotional rollercoaster, and I am here for it!

I definitely recommend reading this book! I’ll be going back to read the previous books so I can recommend those too!!!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is book 8 in the series and I have enjoyed every book in this series. It feels like hanging out with friends and have liked seeing how they have grown and changed.

This one brings it close to home for Detective Jo as someone in her family goes missing from the mall. It looks like it is tied to other cases. Someone is kidnapping mothers and daughters right before Christmas from area malls. How far will a child go to try and make a parent happy?

This book is so engaging but will also pull at your heart strings. It is so well written and captivating that I read in one sitting.

The Christmas holiday Sweater contest was fun comic relief in the book

Can't wait to see what happens to Jo.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for e-galley.

Angels in the Snow is a gripping read that you will not want to put down.

Jo Fournier is back in Book 8 and its my favourite to date.

The story was faced paced nail biting read that had you holding your breath with an ending you wont see coming.

Jo and her team are frantically trying to find Jo's cousin and young daughter that have disappeared from the mall one day.

Jo knows as the clock ticks the odds of finding them alive are diminishing.

The tension mounts as we see Paxton struggling to help and protect her young daughter.

Clear your schedule and settle in for a roller coaster of a read that will have you waning more.

Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for a 5 star read.
