Bem ao estilo de Gabriel García Márquez, este livro reúne sete histórias mágicas que reflectem a cultura sul-americana. As primeiras, um conjunto de seis contos fantásticos onde se misturam acontecimentos surreais e detalhes do quotidiano, contam-nos as alterações sofridas por pequenas e pobres povoações após estranhos acontecimentos que mudam a vida de todos os habitantes. A última, a novela curta que dá título ao livro, conta a história de Eréndira, uma adolescente obrigada a prostituir-se pela própria avó para a recompensar das perdas decorrentes de um incêndio acidental - um bizarro mas poderoso exemplo do realismo mágico de García Márquez.

The work was partially based on his parents' courtship and was adapted into a 2007 film starring Javier Bardem. Ten Disappointments.
A collection of twelve short stories by Nobel laureate Gabriel García Marquez; “Innocent Erendira” being closer to a novella than a shortie.
Well, all I have to say is that this collection sucked! Big time! Taking “Innocent Erendira” aside, which is classic Marquez in all his glorious crudeness and blunt objectification, this was mostly a complete waste of time. The grand majority of these stories felt hallucinatory or nonsensical. And I just can’t stand nonsense literature, or dreamlike stories; I mean, if it’s a dream, what’s the point? And if I can’t understand it, or tell the difference between dream and reality, then what’s the f*cking point? I dunno, maybe there IS a point, I just don’t get it; like symbolism, it just escapes my mortal understanding.
Like Strange Pilgrims: Twelve Stories, I found most of Gabo’s short stories wildly underwhelming. which makes me think this cannot be just a coincidence; especially considering how much I enjoyed many of his other works. So either his short stories suck in general, or I just can’t find an affinity with them. Gabo’s full novels have always been pretty good though, memorable, and usually more than worth it. So in case of doubt, I recommend to just stick with the good stuff.
Go for the Best, consider the Good, whatever the Meh.

Una colección de doce cuentos cortos por el laureado Nobel Gabriel García Marquez; siendo “Inocente Erendira” algo más cercano una novela corta que un cuento.
Bueno, sólo tengo para decir que esta colección ¡apesta! ¡Y mucho! Dejando “Inocente Erendira” de lado, que es el clásico Marquez en toda su gloriosa crudeza y brutal cosificación, esta fue en su mayor parte una completa pérdida de tiempo. La gran mayoría de estas historias se sintió alucinatoria o sin sentido. Y simplemente no puedo soportar la literatura sin sentido, o historias tipo sueño; o sea, si es un sueño ¿cuál es el punto? Y si no puedo entenderlo, o ver la diferencia entre sueño y realidad ¿cuál es el m*ldito punto? No sé, tal vez HAY un punto, pero yo no puedo verlo; como el simbolismo, escapa totalmente mi mortal entendimiento.
Como Doce Cuentos Peregrinos, hallé la mayoría de los cuentos cortos de Gabo terriblemente decepcionantes, lo cual me hace pensar que no puede ser simplemente una coincidencia; especialmente considerando lo mucho que disfruté muchas de sus otras obras. Así que sus historias cortas apestan en general, o yo no puedo tener sintonía con ellas. Sin embargo, las novelas completas de Gabo siempre fueron bastante buenas, memorables, y generalmente más que valiosas. Así que en caso de duda, yo recomiendo atenerse a lo bueno.
Ir por lo Mejor, considerar lo Bueno, loquesea lo Meh.

Absolutamente recomendable. Me he divertido con la lectura de estos siete cuentos de entre los que solo uno, el segundo —«El mar del tiempo perdido» — y por encontrarlo un tanto deslavazado, me ha parecido que flojeaba algo. También, por hallarle alguna pega más entre sus muchas virtudes, el último, el que presta su título a todo el volumen, pienso que mejoraría, perdonen la soberbia, algo más destilado, en línea con los otros relatos, entre los que desataco «Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes», «El ahogado más hermoso del mundo» y «Muerte constante más allá del amor».
Todos los cuentos pertenecen al mundo caribeño que García Márquez envuelve es su particular realismo mágico repleto de símbolos y mitos, y a los que dota de su humor, bastante negro en ocasiones, y sensibilidad para las condiciones sociales en las que viven sus habitantes en general y sus mujeres en particular, subrayando su infinita credulidad en la posibilidad de milagros que palien su precaria e inestable situación, y de la que tan groseramente se aprovechan otros, políticos, religiosos o hacendados. Todos los relatos están conectados de algún modo entre ellos y, como en el caso de «La increíble y triste historia de…», incluso con el mismísimo «Cien años de soledad».

If you want adult fairy tales & lore, then this one's for you. Garcia Marquez has his own genre to contend with and it's works such as these that make him a recognizable figure in your literary consciousness. His short stories are fables and allegories... they contend with time and death and love... the images are pulled out of dreams and Latin American culture (& what wasn't there before is invented NOW) all with wicked mastery... all the while a dreamscape becomes well established in the reader's inspired noggin. This is like reading artwork.

This collection of earlier work features stories abound with love affairs, ruined beauty, magical women, and perspectives on death. Are all similar in style but only about half are really good, with Innocent Erendira the one stand out . You feel like most of these are rough idea's that would later show up in his full on novels and novellas. You also know right from the off this is Marquez, that is of course, if you have already read him. For anyone that hasn't, this isn't a bad place to start before venturing off into his more recognizable work. I have always been enthralled with his style, not so much with some of his themes. He drags his heels through the dust at times with whimsical insights into the human condition, whilst playing around with your thoughts. This book is an odd assortment that the publisher mushed together. "Night of the Curlews" is one that should have been dropped, I skipped most of it. Also "Eyes of the Blue Dog", was pretty weak. Apart from that all stories are either three or four star standard.
His trademark 'magical realism' undergoes an acid trio in places, worthy or unworthy depending how you see it, similar to a William Burroughs or Hunter. S. Thompson, which is hit and miss, whilst death is something that plays heavy on most of the stories, he seems morbidly conscious of the deteriorating human body for some strange reason. Other things that show up, a doppelganger, surrealistic painters, and a bartender who falls for a whore. But it's the title novella that showcases his genius, about a ruthless grandmother pimping her granddaughter to obtain reparations for the house that was burned down due to the carelessness of the granddaughter. There is sexual titillation and underlying themes of religion here, done in way much more richly textured and refined that the rest of the pack.
There are flourishes of things still to come in these offerings, but by and large the early Márquez had greater words and ideas still inside waiting to come out. By the time he writes 'Innocent Eréndira' we see a shift in capability start to unfold, and there is greater engagement and understanding in his writing. He skilfully reveals the story and the characters, so much so that we forget 'Innocent Eréndira' is actually a darker story, encompassing some sordid form of child abuse. As a whole this collection is down the pecking order compared to his most famous work, showing flashes here and there of what was to follow in later years, laying a marker down and confounding a Kafkaesque introspection perhaps best documented as experiments along the way. I probably would have scored this a three overall had it not been for the title story.

Un libro maravilloso, por la fuerza de sus personajes, por la belleza de su narrativa, por ese realismo mágico que uno descubre en cada cuento. Me han fascinado alguno de ellos, como "Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes". Ese cuento me mantuvo atado a sus líneas de principio a final y su belleza es única, hermosa. Lo mismo me sucedió con "El último viaje del buque fantasma", por la forma en la que está escrito: es una oración de principio a final, sin puntos seguidos y aparte, sólo comas, que me recuerda a las últimas 40 páginas del Ulises de Joyce y que nos da una muestra de la maestría y genialidad de la que Gabo era dueño. "Blacamán el bueno, vendedor de milagros" es otro hermoso cuento, perfectamente desarrollado y poéticamente elevado (como el resto) con una línea final perfecta y el cuento que le da el nombre al libro es el broche de oro para una maravilla de la literatura latinoamericana y universal que es este libro, que nada tiene que envidiarle a los títulos más famosos de su obra.

This was a strange assortment of surrealistic stories that tug at your heart and leave you contemplating long after you’ve left the pages. Most of the stories are set in a blur between the real and unreal and without a reread, the subtle emotions evoked by most of these stories just kept ringing in the mind like the distant echo of a much loved song.
My favorite was Eyes of a Blue Dog that felt like stepping into a parallel universe where our dreams synced perfectly with others’. In it, a woman chases a dream she longs to live, but believes that she is let down by her lover’s inability to recall dreams upon waking up, rather than the fact that it is just a dreamscape she is pursuing. And The Woman Who Came at Six O’ Clock is a perfect take on the manipulative power of love wherein a fat, puffy faced restaurant owner mellows out to the whore he loves and agrees to do what he wasn’t aware he was capable of.
I didn’t think much of the titular story Innocent Erendira… and I attribute it to the author’s neutral approach to child abuse as if it was a norm. The story of the domestic and sexual exploitation of the 14 year old Erendira who is conditioned to obedience to her bitch of a grandmother felt like was a mad rush of words or rather an outline of a novel, which probably was why the author doesn't get explicit, idealize the prostitution or condemn it. One thing leads to another and readers are left without the space to empathize with the victim or even feel an aversion for where the story is going.
I enjoyed reading The Third Resignation that described the much shared fear of death, burial and solitude that follows and Someone Has Been Disarranging These Roses - one that traced observations, memories and needs from the other side of death. In all, I felt that Innocent Erendira and Other Stories is a mixed bag of timeless stories with magic woven into poetic text.

الدافع والمحرك الدائم لماركيز على الأغلب يدور في فلك واحد ، أن مجمل كتاباته دائماً مايكون لب موضوعها الشعور بالظلم ، والدفاع عن المظلومين والمطحونين, لذا فهو يعالج بشكل أو بآخر الإستغلال والفساد والتعالي و الظلم.
لا تختلف حكاية إيرنديرا البريئة عن باقي أعماله فالإستغلال والقهر والإستعباد ظاهر من قبل الجدة التي دفعت حفيدتها للدعارة حتى تسدد ماعليها من ديون احتسبتها الجدة إثر الحريق الذي تسببت به الحفيدة من جراء نسيانها إطفاء الشمعة.
كان جشع الجدة الذي رسمه ماركيز في مشاهد إستغلال الحفيدة وإمتصاص دمها، مُريعاً وقذراً و وحشياً ، كتب بفنتازيا واقعية سحرية قصة الإستغلال حيث يتحول كل مكان قاحل الى مهرجان تُعزف فيه الموسيقى وتُلتقط الصور وطوابير من البشر تنتظر دورها لتدخل على الفتاة الصغيرة والجدة اللعينة تنظم الحضور وتعد المال.
صور ماركيز صبر الفتاة الصغيرة على هذا الظلم والإستغلال وكأنه رضى من الفتاة المغلوب على أمرها على الفساد والظلم والأنانية فلم تنفجر على هذا الوضع الغريب إلا متأخرة ، حين أقدمت على قتل جدتها، رغم فداحة صبرها وماكلفها من ضياع للعمر وذل للنفس.
وكأن ماركيز يقصد أن يقول أنه يجب الإنحناء للعاصفة وتصعير الخد، وتسليم النفس وترك الحق والعدالة ونسيان الكرامة.
ماركيز يجعلك تنظر إلى البلورة المسحورة بكفه الساحرة ليقنعك أنه على حق ، رغم خطأه.

من در مورد چندتا داستانی که بیشتر دوست داشتم می نویسم.
همه داستان ها بجز داستان آخر در مجاورت دریا میگذرن و گاهی توصیفات و رئالیسم جادویی مارکز حس هذیان و دریازدگی رو به خواننده القا میکنه،
داستان اول «آقایی بسیار پیر با بال هایی بسیار بزرگ» از جایی شروع میشه که آقایی با بال های بزرگ در حیاط خانه «پلایو و الیزاندا» سقوط کرده و توی گل گیر کرده ،این آقای پیر باعث میشه تب فرزندشون قطع بشه و رفته رفته این خبر که فرشته ای در خونه شون سقوط کرده پخش میشه و مردم برای دیدن فرشته سرازیر میشن و حتی کشیش برای اثبات اینکه فرشته واقعی هست یانه،و اون ها فرشته رو توی اصطبل خونه زندانی میکنن و برای بازدیدش پول می گیرن،تا همینجا هم داستان خیلی جادویی هست،تصویر فرشته ای که توی یک اصطبل زندانی شده و مردم برای اینکه واکنشی نشون بده به سمتش چیزهای مختلف رو پرتاپ می کنن.
برخی می گن این داستان اشاره به آیه ای داره که اگه میگه اگر مهمونی به خونه ات اومد ازش پذیرایی کن شاید یک فرشته باشه ولی به نظر من برعکس نشون دهنده ذات پلید انسانی هست،که حتی اگر یک فرشته برای نجات اون ها اومده باشه در آخر مردم فرشته رو آزار می دن و به فکر منافع خودشون هستند.

داستان بعد دریای زمان از دست رفته در مورد زنی به کلوتیده هست که یک شب به همسرش میگه من آرزو دارم که زنده به گور بشم و مثل خانواده های با نفوذ خاکم کنند،پس بیا از اینجا بریم چون دیشب عطر گل سرخ به مشامم رسیده و میدونم که به زودی می میرم.توی داستان زیباترین مغروق میخونیم که خاک چیز نایابی هست و مادرها میترسن بچه ها با باد گم بشن ،همون دهکده ذهنی مارکز و خب این درخواست کلوتیده رو برای خاک شدن معنی دار می کنه.
داستان زیباترین مغروق جهان از جایی شروع میشه که بچه هایی که کنار ساحل بازی می کردند متوجه میشن شی ای به ساحل نزدیک شده و فکر میکنن کشتی دشمن یا نهنگی بزرگ هست اما بعد می فهمن جسد مرد مرده ای هست و شروع به بازی باهاش میکنن،تا اینکه یک نفر این واقعه رو میبینه به اهالی روستا خبر میده و برخورد اهالی با این واقعه و جسد مردی که خیلی بزرگتر بوده و توی خونه جا نمی شده و حتی واکنش زن های داستان به عنوان کشمش اصلی داستان نوشته .مارکز با داستان مردی که خیلی بزرگ و زیبا بوده به طوری که زن ها راجع بهش خیال پردازی می کردن تونسته داستان رو به قالب اسطوره و افسانه نزدیک کنه،فانتزی و جادویی بودن داستان همه چیز اون هست،وگرنه داستان شخصیت های زیادی نداره و گره و کشمشی هم به عنوان موضوع اصلی وجود نداره ،کل داستان با مبهوت شدن و مواجه آدم ها با یک عامل خارجی که اینجا مرد مرده بوده می گذره و من خیلی این داستان رو دوست داشتم. چیزی که خیلی جذابش کرده بود اون حسی بود که انگار مرده جان داشت وقتی میگفت نیروهای نامرئی از درون سینه اش دکمه ها رو پاره کردن.
داستان بلاکمان خوش قلب از جایی شروع میشه که راوی که خودش رو بلاکمان خوش قلب معرفی میکنه در یک روز یکشنبه با مرد فروشنده ای مواجه میشه که روی میزی ایستاده بوده و سعی می کرد دارویی رو به عنوان پادرزهر نیش هر جانوری بفروشه و برای اینکار نیش یک مار رو روی خودش امتحان میکنه و همه پادزهر رو ازش می خرن حتی دریاسالار،و شب موقع جمع کردن وسایلش با راوی که قیافه احمق ها رو داشته مواجه میشه و اون رو از پدرش میخره ،اما وقتی خبر پخش میشه که پادزهر اثر نکرده اون ها مجبور میشن با همدیگه متواری شن و اتفاقات بعدی داستان...آخر داستان رو دوست داشتم تغیر کردن بلاکمان خوش قلب و انتقامی که مثل ارندیرا می گیره.
گاهی وقت ها ،وقتی کتاب میخونیم دلمون میخواد نویسنده از بعضی شخصیت ها بیشتر می گفت و یک جورهایی اون شخصیت توی ذهن ما ناتمام مونده ،داستان ارندیرا،روسپی کتاب صدسال تنهایی هم توی این کتاب تکمیل میشه.وقتی خود مارکز شونزده ساله بوده شاهد برخورد یک دختر یازده ساله با مادربزرگش بوده و همین باعث شد که چند سال بعد ارندیرا قهرمان داستانش بشه.
ارندیرا توی یک روستای در آمریکای لاتین با مادربزرگش زندگی می کنه،و خب مثل خیلی از قصه های دیگه دختر تحت سلطه مادربزرگش هست و مادربزرگش به عنوان یک برده ازش استفاده میکنه،تا اینکه یک شب خونه شون آتیش میگیره و مادربزرگ شروع به تبدیل ارندیرا به یک روسپی میکنه تا بتونه خسارت رو جبران کنه.
سبک رئالیسم جادویی مارکز واقعا یه چیز دیگه هست و از همه نویسنده هایی که این سبک رو استفاده کردن بهتره به نظرم،از طرفی داستان یکسری
موتیف های تکراری داره که جذابیت داستان رو چندبرابر می کنه.مفاهمیمی مثل کودک آزاری ،تحقیر و همکاری همگانی در تحقیر یک آدم همه به خوبی در این داستان گنجانده شدن،اینکه تو مدام در طول داستان با خودت می گی چرا هیچکس کاری برای نجات این دختر نمی کنه و برعکس صف های طولانی می بندن که خودشون هم در این کار سهمیم بشن، و اینکه تعهد خانوادگی لزوما چیز مثبتی نیست اون چشم گفتن ها و سلطه پذیری ارندیرا به مادربزرگش کمک می کرد
خواننده چندبار توی داستان مشت های محکمی میخوره و درحالی که با خودش میگه دیگه از این بدتر نمی شه ،باز هم میشه و بوووم مشت بعد،شوک بعد،انگار وزنه سنگینی در تمام داستان روی قلبم بود
از طرفی مادربزرگ دو سویه اخلاقی داره ،از طرفی ارندیرا رو طفلک خطاب میکنه ،یا جایی مردها رو خطاب میکنه که چرا رحم ندارید اون فقط یه دختربچه هست و از طرفی هم به سواستفاده خودش از دختر ادامه میده و میشه گفت مادربزرگ به علت عذاب وجدانی که داشته انگار ارندیرا رو از نقطه معصوم خودش به جایی می رسونه که قدرت انتقام از مادربزرگ رو داشته باشه.واقعا هرچی از داستان های مارکز حرف بزنیم هنوز نکته ای پنهان مونده و همش با خودت میگی نکنه درست متوجه نشدم.
فیلم ارندیرا در ۱۹۸۳ هم به کارگردانی روی گوئرا از این داستان اقتباس شده.

يبدو أن الحظ لم يحالفني هذه المرة مع ماركيز ،ولم أجد فيها تلك اللمسة الساحرة للأديب الكبير حقيقة..
قصة (إيرنديرا) قصة قاتمة جافة كئيبة لم يتم فيها توصيل الفكرة في إطار جيد يتناسب مع القيمة الرمزية للقصة وهي رمزية سياسية من خلال ما فهمته من إستغلال الجدة (القوي) لحفيدتها إيرنديرا (الضعيفة) وسلب إرادتها والتحكم فيها وإسترجاع ثروتها عن بأبشع طريقة ممكنة وهي (أي الجدة) إنما فعلت ذلك بحفيدتها لأنها فيما سبق تمتهن تلك المهنة وأرادت أن تمارس الشئ نفسه على تلك البريئة البائسة..
الرمزية في القصة أعجبتني ،ولكن طريقة سردها وتفاصيلها لم ترق لي والامر نفسه يتعلق بتفاصيلها ومداخلها المزعجة والسقيمة في معظم أجزاء القصة..

the theme common in most of these short stories is death .....
besides the story of Innocent Erendira ,these four stories was interesting to me...

i think this one is extraordinary,describes the fear of death,burial,solid ate and abandonment ....he has gone furthest in dramatizing the terror of burial.....
The woman who came at six o'clock
it portrays the conflict between good and evil,the innocence of Jose a restaurant owner,and Reina a prostitute who used to come at the restaurant at 6 o'clock,she murdered one of her clients,and wanted Jose to cover it,and lie about the time she arrived ,and say it was five_ thirty,the naive Jose agree to her request,after she succeeded in extracting from him a declaration of her love, and his promise to defend her,at the end Riena decided to make a big transformation in her life and leave prostitution,and seek a better life were she cant be victim any more.......

describes the feeling of loneliness and fear......
the two lovers in this story,a man who suffers instant amnesia upon awakening,and a woman who is madly chasing this man whom she meets in the dream.... she wanders through the city muttering, eyes of a blue dog.
marking her passage, hoping that one day that man will see her marks and remember her.......
besides the story of Innocent Erendira ,these four stories was interesting to me...

the two lovers in this story,a man who suffers instant amnesia upon awakening,and a woman who is madly chasing this man whom she meets in the dream.... she wanders through the city muttering, eyes of a blue dog.
marking her passage, hoping that one day that man will see her marks and remember her.......

Oh, the first story - A very old man with enormous wings - is absolutely fantastic, and it reminded me of this wonderful painting by Romanian artist Stefan Caltia:

I haven't always liked reading short stories. But I realise now what amount of work it takes to tell a story in only a few pages, to concentrate all the ideas you would put in tens or hundreds of pages (supposed you were to write a novel) in just a few paragraphs. And sometimes, I guess, writing stories gives you the freedom of exploring new techniques - as in one of these stories, where the first full stop is actually at the very end and I had to read it in full speed, holding my breath.
I finally made up my mind. Marquez kicks Pamuk's ass.

2016 Reading Challenge #9. Un libro con menos de 150 páginas
Este libro es un compendio de cuentos escritos por Gabriel García Márquez en su período de creación de Cien años de soledad, siguiendo el mismo estilo de ésta, por lo que están impregnados del realismo mágico característico de Gabo, haciendo de estos siete cuentos un viaje a un mundo que no existe pero que aun así es; de personajes que no duran más que un par de páginas en el papel, pero perduran en la mente de aquel que lo lea.
Cada cuento es más irreal y verdadero que el anterior, y cada uno, a pesar de lo breve que son, están bien condensados y no dejan cabos sueltos. Esto sólo demuestra la magnificencia de Gabo; cómo cambia de historia sin perder la esencia, y sin hacerse repetitivo.
Los más impactantes para mí serían El último viaje del buque fantasma, el cual es un solo párrafo ininterrumpido en el que se cuenta toda una historia sin ninguna pausa además de las comas, y a pesar de esto, no se pierde el sentido, sino más bien es algo que simplemente me dejó maravillada gratamente, ya que me parece que no cualquiera sería capaz de lograr algo como eso.
Así como el cuento que da el título a este libro. Cruel y fascinante de igual manera, una deuda pagada del peor modo, producto de los vientos de desgracia de Eréndira. Éste, es un broche de oro para lo que fue y es un ícono de la litaratura latinoamericana a gran escala.
No puedo ser imparcial cuando se trata de Gabo. Así que recomiendo este libro encarecidamente.

12 قصة قصيرة أطولها بعنوان " القصة الحزينة التي لا تصدق لإيرينديرا البريئة و جدتها الضارية " .. تدور في فلك الموت .. لا تحس بإسلوب و حس ماركيز فيها؛ ربما السبب في الترجمة ؛ فالاقرب لنقل ترجمة أدب أمريكا الجنوبية وخصوصا ماركيز هو الراحل صالح علماني.

فهل كان مركيز يعني بالجدة الحاكم ؟وايرينديرا بالشعب الراضي بالذل الذي يصنع قيوده ؟
فما أسهل أن تكون قوياً في هذا العالم!

Merhum Gabriel Ustamızın romancılığı kadar öykücülüğü de başarılıymış. Yüzyıllık Yalnızlık gibi bir eser yüz yılda bir gelir, bu yüzden de hiçbir şey ile kıyaslayamam ama bu öykü kitabından da benzer tatları alıyor insan. Okuru yine çekiyor masalsı, büyüleyici gerçekçilikle dolu dünyasının içine.

وبحركة دقيقة وسريعة التقطت صديري السبائك الذهبية، وخرجت
من الخيمة.
وتفحصتها دون أن تلمسها، وعندما تأكدت من موتها، لمع وجهها

نادها صارخاً لكن لم يسمع جواباً ، زحف حتى مدخل الخيمة فوجد إيرينديرا بدأت بالجري نحو الساحل بذل أقضى جهوده ليلحق بها ولكنه لم يفلح لكن صوته لم يكن صوت عاشق بل صوت طفل انهار تحت وطأة التعب العنيف جراء قتل امرأة مسنة دون مساعدة أحد ووجده الخدم ملقى على الشاطئ يبكي من الخوف والوحدة .....
لا يغرك العنوان يا صاحبي فإيرينديرا لم تكن بريئة بالرغم من كل محاولات غابرييل من تجميل صورتها فهي فعلياً لم يكن بيدها حيلة الا طاعة الجدة وتنفيذ أوامرها المستبدة ولو كان على سبيل استغلال شرفها وصباها وجسدها فهي كانت تحت رحمة واقعها ، بالنهاية عندما سنحت لها الفرصة بالتحرر من قيود جدتها المتغطرسة الخانقة غدرت بها وغدرت بأوليسيس العاشق ودفعته نحو الهاوية وفرت و كما يقال العرق دساس ..
بطعم سموم الصحراء اللاذع ونسيم البحر المالح تأتينا قصة إيرينديرا وقصص آخرى واقعية ممزوجة ببعض السحر والخيالية والغرابة تأخذك لمكان آخر تغوص بك في عالم مدهش .. عالم غابرييل الخيالي حيث كل شيء ممكن ! إلى عالم اللاحدود ، حيث يقول غابرييل في قصصه // إنها قصص توجد في الحياة يقصونها على الصغار للتسلية ويتداولها الكبار كحقيقة مؤكدة // حيث ستجد بعض القصص الخارجة عن المالوف كقصة المرأة العنكبوت ورجل الأجنحة الضخمة والشباب الذين نقرت عيونهم طيور الكروان وغيرها
القصص كانت (ليلة الكروان -الموت بعد الحب -نابو الزنجي الذي انتظرته الملائكة -رجل عجوز جداً بأجنحة ضخمة ) تكشف بطريقة خيالية فساد السلطة في المنطقة كالسيناتور الذي يوقع على براءة ايرينديرا وحسن سلوكها بصدد الترويج لحملته في حواري ومناطق البغاء والسيناتور الآخر في قصة ثانية الذي تستر على مجرم وأعطاه بالمقابل ابنته ورجل الأمن الذي انشغل عن حماية الناس بإطلاق العيارات عل�� الغيوم ليهطل المطر في لهيب تلك الصحراء وكذلك عالجت ظاهرة التخلف والغباء وقلة الوعي والاستغلال من ناحية الناس العادية . تلك المحاولة الأولى مع غابرييل غارسيا ماركيز وكانت لا بأس بداية موفقة . #عثة_الكتب

volim márqueza. generalno ga volim. ova knjiga ne uvrštava se u vrh njegovog opusa (priče su pisane u periodu od 1961. do 1972., čekaju ga još godine tesanja), ali ljubiteljima će biti prepoznatljiv po svom općepoznatom magijskom realizmu i finom humoru koji teče između redaka, a gotovo nikad direktno.
ovdje ćeš naći sedam priča. šest ih je vrlo kratkih, a jedina duža je posljednja, ujedno i naslovna: nevjerojatna i tužna priča o nevinoj eréndiri i njezinoj bezdušnoj babi. eréndira je doista nevina -naivna, rekli bismo-, a baba toliko odvratna da bude sasvim logično kad joj márquez dodijeli zelenu krv-“masnu i sjajnu poput meda od metvice.”
ipak, između ovih sedam, vrhunskom smatram prvu priču, “vrlo stari gospodin s vrlo velikim krilima”: desetak stranica čiste márquezove narativne poezije.. ljepota njegovog imaginarija u minijaturi.

A collection of short stories from GGM.
The title story, and by far the longest, is an excellent tale of the winds of misfortune, and Eréndira's resulting cruel and fascinating repayment of her perceived debt. For me this was the most enjoyable of the stories.
The other eleven stories deal, in typical GGM fashion, with death, alternative death, magical realism. For me they were a bit hit and miss.
These stories all state the date they were written, and flicking through them they range mostly in the 1947-53 range, with the title story in 1972, one in 1962 and one in 1970. That would put this as some of his earlier work, so perhaps that is why for me, it doesn't contain the polish of some of his other works.
Solid 3 stars.

Me gustaron más los cuentos " El ahogado más hermoso del mundo" y " Muerte constante más allá del amor" que el de La increíble y triste historia de la cándida Eréndira y de su abuela desalmada.
