Even though it had Trump all the way through it, it could easily have been made generic to fit any country, especially those managing immigration issues, crime and political issues.
I read so reviews and agree with comments about not sure why this book is considered as humour, unless it is to do with the absurdity (which is not too far from reality).
I was caught up with the book and faced with the personal dilemma of cheering and hating the main character at different times....more

It is a great read and it documents the information, history and ‘tall stories’ that the journalists encountered in Larrimah and other regions in the NT, including Tennant Creek, Elliott, Mataranka and Borroloola and well as the proceedings from the first inquest in 2018. It is very current and timely as the inquest is going to continue soon. It is funny, puzzling, often unbelievable, shocking, uncensored and am amazed at the lengths the writers went....more

I found it fascinating and disturbing the stories relating to what happened to Japanese citizens in Australia following the war.
