It's the feeling of sleeping in your bed for the first time after being exhausted and worn down. It's when it rains for weeks at a time, then you go outside, and that first ray of sunshine hits your face, and you feel warmth deep in your bones. He's sunshine after a storm."
I don't know where to start with Kismet by the divine Ashley James, it was just full of all the feels, so much so that I inhaled it in a day and I haven't been able to form the words to properly review it a week later. I still can't.
So...Kismet is a story in three parts, spanning more than 5 years in the relationship between Cash De Marco and Stone Phillips.
Kismet is a story of a forbidden, age-gap relationship (teacher/student/10 years), it's a story of broken promises and broken hearts, of loss and second chances, of a passion that burns so brightly it can't be extinguished because...it's kismet.
You need to read this. Be prepared to sob. And have a fan handy, because the steamy times are HOT.
“I see you, Gerulf. I don’t know who you were before and I don’t care. This is the version of you I fell in love with.”
Wither by Ashlyn Drewek is “I see you, Gerulf. I don’t know who you were before and I don’t care. This is the version of you I fell in love with.”
Wither by Ashlyn Drewek is everything you could ever want from a MM romance novella, re-imagining of Beauty and the Beast - but written in Ashlyn Drewek’s inimitable style. Fabulous research, beautifully written, flawed yet lovable characters, and a flowing storyline. Magic!

I loved Hold Me Under by the marvellous Riley Nash and was waiting desperately for the next instalment in her Water, Air, Earth, Fire series. Make Me Fall did not disappoint.
Jonah and Gray are a completely different dynamic from Victor and Ethan (as an aside, I loved the cameo appearances from them in this book❣️), and if you found Hold Me Under too angsty and gritty for your palate, you will definitely gravitate towards this one.
Gray is our older, grumpy, guilt and ansgt-ridden lawyer from Hold Me Under and Jonah is the oh so young, lovable and free ray of sunshine that pulls him out of the dark. But how can two people who are clearly so opposite in every single way ever make it together? Prepare to have your heart schmooshed and broken and repaired over and over in this little bit of heaven.
"On paper, none of this works - a boy and a man, the sun and the moon, things that aren't supposed to touch. Neither of us are ready. It feels like reversing the tide, the entire polarity of the earth."

Fuck, Ferrara really had him trained well."
I totally love this series and this book is no exception, in fact I've now read it three times, back to back ...more
