I listened to the audio, so I'm not sure how the print version would compare. The audio has an all star cast (the author and actors from The Good Place), footnotes (denoted by 2 different bell sounds) and I felt like it added so much to what might be otherwise drier text. ...more

I love watching and having a running commentary on movies so I thought this book would be made for me but I was so bored.
Each chapter takes on a different movie but the author just runs through the entire movie - almost scene by scene with a few funny insights - but after a few chapters it just drags. ...more
