Damn, this series will give me mini-heart attack every time i end it. Another god-damned cliffy. Shit Man. I think Author is a fan of cliffy's or she has kink of watching her fan's going bat shit crazy. I think its the rest.
“Tell me that you don’t want to fuck me,” he said. “That you don’t want me to bury my cock deep inside of youright now.”
I really liked this instalment of this series, more than the first. There was quite a character development here, especially in Andrew's character. He is still a asshole, and always will but he is nice person. A heart broken guy, my poor baby, the past we have known by now is really painful. Any body would be like this, if it happened to them, too. I liked how Andrew is getting close to Aubrey. But sometimes hot and cold, its bothering me.
“And the Latin quote across your heart? What does it mean?” “Lie about one thing, lie about it all...”
Andrew's "Lie about one thing, lie about all ... tattoo just breaked my heart. I know its difficult to overcome your only rule. But he has to see why Aubrey lied. Half of the time i understand Andrew and half of the time, I'm yelling at him to get his mind out of the gutter.
I just can't wait to read the last instalment of their series. I know it would be beautiful and painful at the same time. Because Andrew you have to do some growling here, if you Aubrey back Baby!. BTW did i mention that i hate Ava??? Yeah i seriously hate that bitch.
“So, you don’t love me anymore?”
“I don’t answer rhetorical questions,” I said. “And I’m not a geography expert, but I know damn well that North Carolina is outside of New York and a direct violation of your parole. What do you think will happen when they find out you’re here? Do you think they’ll make you serve out the sentence that you more than f**king deserve?”
She gasped. “You would snitch on me?”
“I would run my car over you.”
Its all for now on, Diving to 3rd and last instalment of this book. Fingers and toes crossed :D ...more

“Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.”

Broken is one of those books who got me hooked by it's very very FIRSTY line. I have never started a book with that much of a heavy heart. The preface breaked my heart and all i was praying that please GOD don't let anything happen like this! This was my first book of this author and I must say she done a great job convincing me to try her books. This book breaked me, made me angry, made me see some things in such a light and changed my behaviour and thinking about mental illness. How forbidden office romance to a life and mind changing book I didn't notice. I was just unable to stay off this book, though it was breaking my heart just by thinking that what will happen later.
"I'm too much.Too broken.Life is better alone.I like it that way".
James David Holder a Man I will always remember. Whenever I think life is too much to bear i will remember him, remember his pain, his hopelessness, his anger, JUST HIM. I will remember him. James was a sarcastic twat, an arrogant asshole, a egoistic bastard. This was the image we first got of him from Theo's POV, but it was not James. It was a façade he was wearing to fool everyone. To let everyone be mile away from him. But from the first he meet Theo things was out of control. Their was certain spark between them which was not to be ignored.
Theodore aka our Theo. He was the most selfless bastard I've ever read about. He has a heart a size of America. So much to love, so much to give. He was not a naive horny sarcastic shell we always read in MM romance. He was kind of guy that will make you unable not to like him to adore him. When he meet James and after the rough coupling in a tiny restroom, his hatred and dislike of James was reasonable, because of his obvious egoistic sarcastic shell but Theo didn't get fooled, he saw the man behind the façade. He saw the real James. But things were not easy. James was beyond repairing.
"The pain is there. It never leaves. Sometimes it's bearable, but it's always there. It's pecked away at my soul all my life and, finally, it's won. I surrender."
Broken was a emotional and raw book. A story of a Love that was beyond destruction. James and Theo are about to embark down a wonderful road of friendship and love, until James' darkness spills onto their sunshine. A darkness James doesn't want to fight anymore and a darkness Theo has no option but to fight his way through for both himself and James.
I loved the relationship between James & Theo. It was not like a usual and normal couple. Nothing about them was normal. So much Pain, so many secrets. So much to bear. Every day was a struggle. I loved James as same as i loved Theo, their relationship was something which we don't read about normally. Their Love was so strong, they walked through hell to get a normal relationship till the end it was a struggle but with the help of each other they will pass everything. James told every secret of his to Theo, to let him walk away before everything gets deep and painful. But he didn't know he was doing just opposite. He was laying his heart in Theo's palm and believing him not to crush it. I LOVED EVERYTHING, & EVERYONE IN THIS BOOK...!! My emotions are over-whelming me right now.
"I'm not normal. I'm fucked up. Broken. Irreparable."
I don't want to spoil anything for you guys, this book is too precious for me to spoil anything. Just read it.. READ IT and you'll know how important it was to read. This is not just about James and Theo, it is about a journey a journey not to a Happily Ever After, a journey to seek love to know how when nothing is in your life is stable but still their is something, someone for you to keep living, keep fighting. Not to give up..!!! Just keep swimming, keep swimming till the you find a anchor to hold on. Just don't give up. This book teared me up, I am a crying mess, with a heavy heart did i completed this book, i didn't want them to not have a ending. I wanted to read it, to face it like they were facing the darkness. Such Pain, I didn't know how peoples are able to bear that!!

“I fell in love with you at your worst. I’ve had some of the best times of my life with you at, as you say, your worst. So I can’t even imagine how special life will be when I get to experience your best.”
“You didn’t have to make me fall in love with you. I’ve been in love with you from that first kiss. I love you.”
For me Alexa Riley book's are either a win or a lose. But this book was kind-of in-between for me. I loved the sexy Calder but he was annoying dick too but a reasonable one.I love the female MC too. I loved her very much in the first half of this book, but the other half part was annoying. I didn't connect with her. As we all know that in AR books we always get a HEA and insta-love and if you don't like it, then just simply ignore her short books.
"I want a thousand nights like this and then a thousand more"
Calder is a beast, a caveman. And gets whatever he wants. he is grumpy and a jealous kind of lover. Never takes no for a answer and he loves Felicity. His jealous moments with her was so funny and sexy. I usually don't like this caveman grumpy asshole MC's but in Clader these traits are like a second skin. I loved him in this book and wanted more but hell it was so very short.
"Being able to give her this kind of pleasure makes me feel like a God, even though I'm the one kneeling."
Calder and Felicity shared a hot-as-fuck kiss. But when it turns out that she was the daughter of his company's attourney, he back out and turns cold. But when he see's other guys even smile on her side, he was fuming with jealousy. Calder tried everything to stay away from her but he failed and then comes a stupid decision to go to her room. and then hell broke down. and then the real story starts from there.
“What are you doing here?” she gasps, but her legs spread under me, allowing my steel-hard cock to press against her hot, panty-covered pussy. “I’m giving us both what we need, sweetheart. I can’t stay away from you any longer. I’ve tried, but seeing you tonight was my undoing. Please, Felicity. Please don’t turn me away.” ... “Let me have you, Felicity.”
It's a standard set of possessive man and shy female. It gives you sexy mix with dirty side. And although it is still insta-love at its best from Alexa Riley, the action took place in the space of a few months. It adds some tension and develop the storyline in fantastic way. Not only smut but also heart melting story.
Totally Recommended for insta-love & insta-lust lover's....more
“My idea of romance is a guy who will take me to see an Avengers film and doesn’t mind dressing up like Loki afterwards.”
Smut was the first book I've ever read of this author. And believe me she blown'd me away by her writing and sense of humour. I liked this book, especially Main Characters and also Amanda's room mate Ana, oh I loved that ancient lady. The plot was the main thing that blown'd me away and sold this book to me. I liked how Karina Halle wrote about the reality of SMUT and how many people prejudice it and the people who are reading it.
"Heroine is gorgeous but she doesn't know it... Must be a doormat and void of personality or any interesting characteristics so that the reader can interject their own selves. A virgin is preferred but she must be able to get off on command."
"Dirty talking alpha male. Extremely large penis. Built like The Rock. A millionaire is good, but a billionaire is better. Make sure he donates to Africa or does some charity work even though he's an asshole with a damaged past."
I loved how Karina Hale wrote something more in new-adult. Not soo much drama. Not much angst. Not second-chances. No ex-climbing in life.. Not to much of EVERYTHING.
SMUT was different than any other new-adult. I really liked the way Karina didn't described Blake's past. Like every author described MC's past in half of the book. I REALLY LIKED IT. I also liked that it wasn't insta-love and insta-lust in it, everything was building at the right time. I loved the books with good character development. Character Development is one of the great qualities of a good book.
“Keep it in your pants.” I pause, trying to keep my eyes from staying on his crotch. “Wait, are you saying you’re hard right now?” He scratches at the scruff of his chin, eyes dancing. “Pretty much, considering what I’m writing. Just say the word cock again.” “Fuck you.” “Well what do you know,” he says lazily. “The word fuck works too.”
This book made me root for them, i liked their crazy banter and oh my the tension was seriously hot :D I liked how their relationship make a total 360 from hating each other to being friends and from being friends to being friends-with-benefit's. I was always waiting for them to being more than just a friends. It was quite a thrill to see a relationship building in front of your eyes.
"He's got that look I love in his eyes, the one only I bring to him. Sleepy, relaxed, happy. Absolutely satisfied. But there's tenderness brimming underneath, something rare and beautiful, like a key that makes my heart want to burst free, like a bird from a cage."
So Basically!! The story starts with Amanda hating Blake's guts because he was cocky bastard and a manwhore. And then Viola they are writing partners, Probably this assignment made them, i mean force them to work together. and when they started working together Blake is still a cocky bastard, its not a story where THOSE kind of MC are whom are hiding behind a wall. Though, Blake has his flaws and insecurities but he is also a good guy helping his step-brother kevin and his dad in book-store. So i liked Blake's character alot. and HE WAS A BOOKNERD, this was the best thing. I've never ever read about the guys who are a huge booknerd in any novel. So it was a plus. THE FEELS WERE AMAZING. Whether you’re reading to be changed and challenged or reading to escape for a few hours, get off and maybe make good with your husband, who cares? No one should be judged by what they read, nor should authors by what they write
I KNOW i am not making any sense here with review because seriously i Really liked this book. The lightness with the amazing plot line, it was all i could take in. But do me a favour and read this book. Its amazing and hilarious. I had so many LAUGH OUT LOUD moments. It has sort of every thing..

A Perfect amount of Romance. A Perfect amount of Sex. A Perfect amount of Drama. A Perfect amount of stubbornness. And A perfect amount of everything.
“Sex makes things messy.” “Messy is good.” “And according to you, so is greed and we won’t even get a chance to be greedy if we’re too preoccupied with sex.” “Believe me, you’ll be greedy,” he says lazily. “You’ll have the greediest cunt around once I’ve gotten through to you.” My cheeks flame. Damn. “You’re speechless,” he says after a beat. I clear my throat a few times. “I’m trying to think of a witty comeback.” “Don’t think so much then.”
“Where’d you find this ray of sunshine, a morgue? Doesn’t have the doughy hands of an idle lord, he works for his fine suits. What do you do, Mr. Arg
“Where’d you find this ray of sunshine, a morgue? Doesn’t have the doughy hands of an idle lord, he works for his fine suits. What do you do, Mr. Argent, are you an undertaker perhaps?” Christopher’s shoulder lifted, though he remained unperturbed. “Close enough."
This book start with most heart-breaking prologue I've ever read. So much pain and cruelty, no one deserves it not even a prisoner.Christopher Argent was the most cold & heartbreaking hero I've read so far. He has no feelings for anyone. An trained assassin and a murderer who kills without even a thought. So cold and fearless. We got to know the reason behind the coldness of our hero (well he was more of anti-hero but instead of this you will love Argent no matter what) in the prologue. What happened in prison left him so cold that he was void of any heart warming feelings. Till he meet Millie Le'Cour.
“I have killed so many,” he murmured. “Don’t you know that it’s too late for me? Don’t you realize that if there is anything but oblivion after this life, I am well and truly damned?”
Millie Le'Cour I loved her as a heroine. She was a very strong character and a very loving mother. She was reading to do anything for her son Jakub. With the best days of her carer as an stage performer and England's sweetheart she doesn't know that somewhere danger is awaiting for her to kill her and rob her from her son. And the only man who can protect her is the man who was assigned to kill her, but as he set his eyes on her, he was transfixed by her beauty. That make him impossible to kill her and let him make an arrangement which will make Argent need fulfilled and Millie's need to protect her son. But as the days and danger crossed them, there was more than just a arrangement but something else. SOMETHING STRONGER!
He tensed and made a sound she couldn’t identify. Encouragement or censure, she couldn’t tell until he spoke. “Don’t be kind to me,” he ordered roughly, and tore her nightgown down the front. “I don’t know what to do when you’re kind.”
As the story unfolds, so many truths come unfold and caused their arrangement to turn into something strong and uncontrollable. This book will take you from the romance to thriller in seconds, from each turning page yu'll find something new which will make you think about the characters and the truth behind their lies. I was so not going to read this book but the review make it impossible for me to ignore. This was my first book of this author but definitely not the last. I love the relationship between Christopher and Millie, it was like a rollercoaster of emotions. You won't know what will happen next.
He tensed and made a sound she couldn’t identify. Encouragement or censure, she couldn’t tell until he spoke. “Don’t be kind to me,” he ordered roughly, and tore her nightgown down the front. “I don’t know what to do when you’re kind.”
Christopher was the most angsty hero I've ever read. He was so heart-broken for the most of the book, I really didn't thought anyone can make him feel. Reading about his feelings were so raw and emotional. I felt for him and his fights with the emotions he was not understanding. He was new to this lust and this need he was feeling for Millie and the need to protect her was so strong that made the most of book so raw and good that i can't wait to see what happen in the end. He was so heart-broken that he denied every feeling and every good thing he might get from this world. Denied the fact that he was even a human, just a monster, a assassin, a murderer. Nothing else.
“It is an easy thing to commit a sin and say that ‘the devil made me do it,’ and then cast that sin on him. But this life has taught me that we make ourselves into the monsters that we are. That the blood we spill is on our own hands.”
This was not our usual historical-Romance book that we read. This book full of suspense, thriller, angst and so many raw emotions that you'll feel in your every bone. The plot was very suspenseful and it was dark and it was everything you need to read in a Historical Romance book. It was so heart-breakingly good to see Christopher suffering from a cold assassin to a lover and a protector and to the loving moments between Jakub and Christopher. Everything was soo good. With so many secrets and burden of past, seeing them both fighting till the end for eachother makes this book more perfect for bookworm's like us who loves to read Historical Romance. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
“If you’re not on this forsaken planet, it might as well stop spinning until we all fly off into the void. Because that’s all there is without you. Emptiness.”

This was the best risk I've taken on "all-the-hype-bestsellers books" so far in 2016.
From starting of this month Bossman has ruled my news-feed with its 5star drool-worthy reviews. And yet I was wary with picking this book because HONESTLY I didn't liked its cover. SORRY Ladies . But as i said alot of reviews with 5stars rating sold me this book. and OH MY .. the main reason I read this book was because of it's synopsis and what a synopsis it was. Gosh!! So, lets stop with my constant babbling and let me tell you about this Drool-worthy-awesome-and-funniest-book-i've-read-in-2016 !! :P
What are going here, Chase? "Making your dreams come true, apparently."
It all starts with a restroom banter to Chase Parker crashing our heroine's Resse date which was so far a disaster.
”Reese. Is that you?”
What the hell? “Umm…yes.”
“Wow. It’s been a long time.” He patted his chest. “It’s me, Chase.”
Chase is the true definition of our sexy as sin hot CEO with a heart-breaking past. But not like those boring CEO book where the CEO has a cold heart and walls as high as his height 6.2. No its NOT that scene here. Chase Parker is a heart-warming and Funny CEO I've ever read. He talks to everyone of his employee like a friend and yet he ooze sexuality, confidence and authority with his warm brown eyes and a captivating dimple.
Resse Annesley was a stubborn and stubborn lady with a past to work on and a reputation to carry. which our boosman is trying hard to rule. Resse ooze confidence and attitude well blame on the red hair huh :D As a female lead Resse was quite an character to read about. What I liked about her was she was not our usual type of Horny Sex kitten we read in hot CEO type books. I loved how she didn't give up on her anti-having sex with the boss's boss. I liked how she was trying her hard to have a place on her own in his company.
“I launched myself at him, throwing my arms around his neck. “I quit.” He wrapped his arm around my waist, and with one quick hitch, he lifted me up. “It’s about damn time.”
Another thing which make this book a exception is this book DO NOT have insta-sex or insta-love which are my pet peeves how can we like something which is happening so fast that it seems fake. So, this book was a plus for me. I loved how Chase was working so hard for Resse to have sex with him.
“You want the truth? … I’m attracted to you. Really attracted to you. Have been since the first time I saw you. Tried to be respectful, considering you were seeing someone. Done doing that. If you work here, I’m going to try to get you into my bed.”
I loved their crazy banter and Chase's made-up-stories God, that guy is a walking contradiction. The attraction, the sparks were the highlights of this book. For me the plot of this book was predictable but yet exciting and sometimes insanely funny. This book made me laugh out loud so many times. I loved how we get Dual POV'S because it made this story so much more exciting especially when chase was being an arsehole.
"Chase, tell me why you are not the man for me? "Goodnight, Buttercup."
To be honest I LOVED the heartbreakingly past more than their insanely funny moments just because of Chase. This guy made me intrigued so much that i wanted to know each and everything about him. and to see a dejected and vulnerable Chase was plus for me. I enjoyed how he was fighting with his past to be live in present with resse. Everything of this book was JUST awsome!!
“I want more with you. I can’t promise you what that is or where it will go, but it’s more than just physical. I’m attracted to everything about you – you’re smart, honest, funny, brave, a little nutty – and you make me smile for no reason. There’s no denying I want you in my bed. I think you’ve caught on to that part by now. But I want this, too. I’m tired of looking back. It’s been a long time since I’ve wanted to live in the moment.”
ALL IN ALL. This was an Insanely good read for me. I loved this book. I devoured it. I couldn't put it down. It was a perfect mix of everything you could ever wish for in a sexy, addictive romance! It'll make you blush, and even break your heart at times, but then made you swoon and laugh out loud again. I highly recommend it :)
“But you think you’re ready to move on now?” “I think it took me this long to realize what moving on meant. It doesn’t mean forgetting what you’ve left behind. It means making her a memory and deciding to have a future without her in it.” “Wow.”
“And, by the way, I adore you.... in frightening, dangerous ways.”

“And, by the way, I adore you.... in frightening, dangerous ways.”
OH MY SWEET LORD, reading Midnight Sun was Nostalgic !! I almost forgot how much I Loved this series! and it is even MORE better with Edward's POV!!
“So, Bella, I was following your scent through the woods after I'd left your room where I was watching you sleep...Yes that would be quite the ice breaker.”
And I ABSOLUTELY loved the witty and sarcastic Edward and his inner conflicts always made me giggle, Poor Vampire he is!! and I loved to know about Cullen's more privately with Edwards POV, I loved every one of them, expect Rose !! obviously, i just got over her attitude in Breaking Dawn. She annoys the hell out of me. Stupid, stupid vampire!! Poor Emmett, my heart goes for him!! But overall i loved every family moment of this book, the bond, the understanding .. Everything! How can a vampire family be so sweet and loving?? And ESPECIALLY Charlisle, he is an angle from heaven!!
“Could a dead, frozen heart beat again? It felt like mine was about to.”
Edward and Bella, Oh how much i love this couple! Its would be anyone's guess. Their Understanding, was whoa !! Even i loved the fact that Edward can't listen her mind! Its fascinating even for me :P Seeing Edward trying so hard to read her mind was a thrill to read!! and the way he answered her question in his mind was AWSOME. I didn't know Edward has this character in him!! What a thrill to know more of him..
“Believe me, I wanted to say. I've tried. Oh, and also, I'm wretchedly in love with you. Keep it light.”
But, but, but, this book didn't covered what i wanted to read!! Especially "the Meadow scene" :( WHY OH WHY, this draft got leaked!! It would've been a Masterpiece!! Seriously, i hope one day i can read all the book from Edwards POV!! So many things were missing, so many Feelings to know!! But overall what i read was enough for me to love this book!! NO MATTER HOW I WANTED IT TO BE COMPLETED!!Well, the world is not a wish granting factory, i guess!!

“I didn't want the life that made sense. Not if the chaos meant i could have Bella.”

This book .. GOD where do I even start!!
Characters were dumb as fuck! No story line. Fiction as fairy-tales. Dumb Heroine. Asshole & Confused Hero. No character Development. Immature Writing. [image]
I really, really tried to read this book till the end, no matter how annoyed it make me, with the bullshit-forever-show and all the life-sucks crap!! This story has NO arms and legs, just a DUMB brain!!
Did I have to point it out? Of course, he knows this. People don’t accidentally forget half their clothes. Do they?" I liked Gunner's man logic: “I was in your face, I understand. But honestly, there’s not much choice in this sleeping bag. You’re very close.” I lick my bottom lip. “And…um… your hand is on my ass, Gunner.” He keeps a straight face. “Yeah. I know.” “Is there a reason why you’re not moving it?” “Yep.” I wiggle away , which is only a couple of inches. He sighs. “I needed comfort and your ass was providing it.”
“I love you,” he declared. “Loved you then. Love you now. Never quit lovin’ you in a way I know I never will. You were it for me, the only one
“I love you,” he declared. “Loved you then. Love you now. Never quit lovin’ you in a way I know I never will. You were it for me, the only one, the only woman I ever loved, and you never quit bein’ it.”

Only Kristen Ashley can write Second-chance romance like this. Without making you cringe and regret why did you even pick up this book. I loved every single character of this. Even the side characters were so good. At first I was anxious because of the length of this book, I only sometimes read longggggg books and this was one of them. But again I didn't get a little bit bore. Everything was soo good.
“You’re always here, Logan. Even when you were gone.”
Logan and Millie... wow they both are my favourite ships. Although this is the first book in which I liked the female character more than the male one. I did liked Logan, alot more than like but i literally loved Millie she was really strong, she wasn't perfect but still she was everything a female character should be like. Logan was a dick sometimes, okay half in the book, he was acting like a dick, but he had his reason. I can reason with him.
“You love a man, Millie, you believe in him, you take him as he is. You go on his journey with him no matter what happens, even if that means you have to walk through fire.”
Sometimes this book really irritated me because 1= Millie was trying to get Logan. 2=He was being a dick. 3=Logan was trying to get Millie. 4=Millie was being a heart-broken naive lady.
Overall the story line was awesome. It grips you and don't let you down. I loved the story and how it developed with the character development too. I love the books with good character development. The story will shock you to the bones. Some might think it was stupid or overly crazy plot but it was really good. I was shocked to the bones, when the plot unravels in-front of me. Highly Recommended.!!
“We lost each other. Now we’re found. And nothin’ else matters.”
I opened this book with NO expectation's. Many people take Paulo Coelho's books with this expectations that it will be as good as The Alchemist is. BuI opened this book with NO expectation's. Many people take Paulo Coelho's books with this expectations that it will be as good as The Alchemist is. But no book will ever be good as Alchemist is. So, for me this book was quite unexpected but in a good way. I have read many books of Paulo but this book was quite exception of Paulo's writing. It was desperate, Spiritual and so knowledgeable. I quite learned about Christianity, Spirituality. Love and Decisions.
“If pain must come, may it come quickly. Because I have a life to live, and I need to live it in the best way possible. If he has to make a choice, may he make it now. Then I will either wait for him or forget him.”
And so the novel starts out. The most beautiful opening paragraph I’ve ever read in my life. And unless you are heartless or have never been in love, I don’t know how this wouldn’t at least rank somewhere on your list of most beautiful passages.
“By the River Piedra I sat down and wept. There is a legend that everything falls into the waters of this river – leaves, insects, the feathers of bird – is transformed into the rocks that make the riverbed. If only I could tear out my heart and hurl it into the current, then my pain and longing would be over, and I could finally forget.”
This book was told by the protagonist Pilar's POV, she took us from the streets of Zargoza to the mountains of France to the river of Piadera. For not believing in Love to falling in love. This book showed us different phases of a human's life to her journey to the life of spirituality. This book's main focus was on the female face of GOD. That women's have been degraded from the early era to now, that Male God's have been more in light then women's. This book told us so many tales and knowledge about Virgin Mary. Which for me was quite interesting. As a Muslim, after Islam the most interesting is Christianity. and this book provide alot of it.
“In real life, love has to be possible. Even if it is not returned right away, love can only survive when the hope exists that you will be able to win over the person you desire.”
By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept carries a spiritual theme, as he touches quite a bit on the mystical nature of God. In this particular piece, he focuses on the young man’s belief in a feminine God that grants him the power to heal. and then their is Pilar, Pilar struggles to accept and embrace her feelings for him. He struggles to reconcile his love for the seminary, the gifts he has been given and the love he has held onto for so many years. While the beauty of their love story as it unfolds kept me wanting more, I found myself disappointed, especially toward the end when I didn’t feel the same intensity of emotions as I did with the opening paragraphs.
“But love is much like a dam; if you allow a tiny crack to form through which only a trickle of water can pass, that trickle will quickly bring down the whole structure and soon no one will be able to control the force of the current.”
Nonetheless, I enjoyed this book. I have two more books by Coelho that I want to read. And if you know me, you’ll know that there are VERY few authors from whom I’ve read more than one book. I must really like this guy.
“That is why I write - to try to turn sadness into longing, solitude into remembrance.”

No matter how much you wanted the characters to fall in perfect cycle in this book but they can't. Because this not a book to read just for fun or because of your love of books. This is a book to make us realise that sometimes we've to break the perfect cycle to make our future cycle perfect. Sometimes we have to make certain decisions which breaks us at the moment but we thank it happened in the future. Like colleen Hoover said, "Some risks are never worth taking."
Believe me I wanted so much from this book and from these characters and I wanted nobody to hurt in the end. I was angry, feeling betrayed, my emotions were everywhere. I don't understand that why it happened but in the end I totally understood why this book was the way it is. Because it has to. Life is not a wish granting factory. We have to sacrifice one thing for another, even if we love it with every single fibre of our body. I hated the way this book was proceeding but I know somehow that it WAS important, it was important for us to read, to feel, without experiencing it, and without facing this so much difficult phase that somehow our life is not perfect, Nobody's life is perfect. We have to make it perfect by leaving something perfect.
This book ... this book Teached me alot. This was not just a book for me. This was lesson everyone should get in life without experiencing it in real. I know without a doubt that this book will remain with me forever till I am living and breathing. The characters, the feeling, the pain, the heart-ache, i felt at the same time they were feeling, I understood what they were going through.Every word of this book is Mine. I have never called any book mine, but i can without doubt that..
This Book Is Mine.
No one can take it from me. No one. It hurted me so much, it teached me so much, it angered me so much. It wakes so many feelings inside me I have never though exists. For me I was a cold-hearted girl but NO i am not. This book prove it for me that I am not. I loved every character, I hate them as much as I love them. But I don't think I have that much in me to ever re-read this book. But I will beg this whole wide world to read this book. JUST READ THIS BOOK.
THIS BOOK DESERVE'S TO BE READED !! [image]
Thankyou soooooo much Colleen Hoover , thank you so much for writing this and sharing this with us. I know how difficult it is to bleed your heart open with words. I KNOW! ...more

"You claim to know everything about women," she began. "But tell me, Captain al-Khoury, do you know my name?" Jalal was at a loss. Her perfume had cloaked his senses. Clouded his judgment. He hadn't been expecting such a question. An easy one. A silly one. One Jalal could not romance his way through."
The Moth & the Flame is from the POV of Jalal & Despina. and MY GOSH i loved them. I loved them both dearly from The Wrath & the Dawn . Jalal is such a flirt but Loyal to his bones. Despina well Despina is Despina, a free spirit, a fearless spirit. A competitive one. I loved every interaction between Jalal and Despina, they were drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. Every time they meet, felt like their is certain chemistry and energy surrounding them. and i love couples who have chemistry not everyone have one.
“Captain al-Khoury! Are you—” “Softly,” he whispered. Exasperation flared through her, bringing a flush to her cheeks. “What?” “You’re shouting in my ears.” He held back a grin. “Softly, my sweet.”
I want more of them. I want a separate book for them, if it is not more. because these two are the favourite side characters I've ever read. And I'm curious to see how their story will end. Renee is just making us more anxious by releasing these short stories. DAMN when will i get my hands on The Rose & the Dagger ??? when?? :/ I WANT MORE.. PLEASE!
‘‘Despina,’’ she whispered. ‘‘My name is Despina.’’
