I enjoyed this loose retelling of A Christmas Carol so much more than I expected to. It was a feel good holiday tale with lots of dry humor sprinkled throughout. The concept was totally unique. Holly grew on me much quicker than I ever could have guessed. Her cynical outlook on the world had me hook, line and sinker. Usually she would be a character I’d abhor but there was something about her that made her almost endearing at times. This book ended up being another great choice leading into the holidays.
