Sweet and quirky!
Molly suddenly finds herself all alone in the world following the death of her beloved grandmother. Molly has trouble understanding people and tends to be somewhat of a loner. Her main focus is her job as a maid. She strives to be the best maid the hotel has ever had. And truly I think she nails it!
But after discovering one of the hotel’s best clients dead in his bed😜 (couldn’t resist) Molly finds herself as a main suspect.
Absolutely enjoyed it. A delightful mystery! My next hotel stay will be a whole new experience!
Highly recommend the audio version! Lauren Ambrose did an excellent job bringing Molly to life!

Great review! I have heard though, that the MC is inconsistent in her behaviour when questioned. She seems oblivious one time then savvy the next. 🤍

Kaceey, your excellent review was a great teaser - I bet many GR readers will add this one to their TBR lists because of this review! Parts of this book seemed uneven, character-wise, but when you have an autistic main character, I guess that we are all going in a bit blind because the symptoms or characteristics of "autism" - or whatever the new politically correct label is now - is as diverse as the new labels. I want to be fair and inclusive, but sometimes these characters do a complete turnaround and behave with a sophistication that is in direct contrast to earlier behaviour. That is what I meant by "uneven". Glad you really enjoyed this one, Kaceey!
