The last time i saw Jane and her men,they were in a lot of trouble.
So,seeing the ARC of Darkness & Debauchery in my inbox was a very welcome gift,and i couldn’t wait to hear what happened.
What i found held me captive until the very last page,enjoying the good,and cursing the bad,but feeling very satisfied with the end.

Jane and Korban managed to get out of Metro with Maddox,but the others weren’t as lucky.
If you consider Jane and Korban lucky,that is….
Because with only Kor there,it’s not exactly a given that they’re safe. That Jane is safe.
Because,let’s face it,Kor hás his issues….
Plus,Maddox and his men have their eyes on Jane,too…..ready to steal her from Kor if given a chance.
What is it with them,anyway?
Why would they want her,it’s not like she’s special or anything….right????
And if that’s not enough,Jane’s sperm donor calling himself her father, is searching for her.
After all those years of hating her,he finally found a use for her.

In the meantime,Vic,Sie,Theo and Paris have been caught and sent to a place nobody ever managed to get out of….
And all that so Vic’s creep of a father can get his hands on Jane!
So,getting out is their priority,but once that miracle happens,please don’t ask me how,and they’re reunited with Kor and Jane,it becomes painfully clear their troubles are far from over.
And that’s not just because Vic insists on being his usual asshole self….or who Jane is becoming…..

All Jane ever wanted,was someone to love,and it hurt to see how everyone kept failing her.
Even the ones that díd love her decided to claim her when it was almost too late.
Leaving her in the last place she should be.
The hands of the enemy….having to find a way to save herself.

This story broke my heart in more ways than one.
Not only was Jane a girl that was longing for someone to love her for who she was,the men she ended up claiming as hers,the men she loved,were stubborn as hell.
As in,they waited for só long to show her they felt the same!
I get it,they had their own history to overcome,but still….

The way Vic especially treated her was mean,and unnecessary.
I was tempted more than once to give him a good kick up the butt,thát’s for sure!
The others may have been a little kinder,but it took them long enough to show it.
Once they gave into their feelings,though….

Jane,Vic,Sie,Theo,Parisand Korban all had their issues,all of them running deep.
Trusting Jane was hard for these men,but once they opened up to her,what they got in return was a girl that would do anything for them.
Jane may have been used to living a lonely life,barely living at all,but once she found her men,a new world opened up for her.
A world where she found the family that would do anything to make her happy.

Edit after added epilogue
That was exactly what the doctor ordered!
Not only knowing where they are now,being the family they were supposed to be,but to hear how Jane is doing…..
And to see these men giving her what she needs,and how……hotdamn!!!


There’s only one thing i’m left wondering about…..
What about Maddox and his men?
Is there any chance they could be lucky enough to find what Vic and his family have??
