I have this one already but I am baffled how people vote for a book they have not intention of reading

it sounds really good. Have you started Ezi? I don't know if I will be able to get to it this month - but I have put it on hold at the library so if I can get to it I will.

I bought the audio, but I wasn't planning on reading it this month. If you want, we can read it together next month.

My complaint is that I nominate books that I intend to read, other people just nominate and/or vote for books and NEVER participate in the discussions.

I don't remember who nominated this book, but obviously it won with the most votes. So where are the people who wanted it as the BOM?

I don't remember if I voted at all last month. I knew I was going to be slammed this month with other reads and not too much time. I need to add about 12 more hours to the day so I can get the important things (reading :-) ) done.

Nopers. I'm still an M/M virgin at this point. However, in the next month or two I'm going to be rectifying that and so you might see me jumping into that thread at that point. I've gotten a few good suggestions on books to start with. I'm hoping to get to one or two of them in May.

I have started this one. I don't understand why she is estranged from her parents and how she got the gift of shadow reading.

Penni, I am a little confused about this world. I almost feel like this is a book 2.

How did Mackenzie get this gift? Is it hereditary? She has had it for since she was a kid. Is someone in her family fae?

Static is a good analogy but it's static that feels good. If I remember right the king didn't want her to know how to speak fae.

Yes. It seems like the King wanted her ignorant in a lot of things, but he showed her the maps of the provinces...at least of the 13.

If a human and true blood mate/marry, what will their kid be?

This book is pretty entertaining. I like that youthful angsty thing.
