Dani, Nathan, Michael, and Crew are back in another steamy, why-choose rom-com with book three in the Chicago Racketeers series, Seriously P4.5 Stars!
Dani, Nathan, Michael, and Crew are back in another steamy, why-choose rom-com with book three in the Chicago Racketeers series, Seriously Pucked. This book explores the ramifications and complications of relationships beyond the initial honeymoon phase. Here, we see Dani and the guys (Cookie and Co) moving in together, permanently. Such a big move is already a lot with one partner, but having 4 people in a relationship makes it even more difficult. This new change is harder to adjust for some, and learning how to compromise is becoming increasingly difficult for Nathan. Meanwhile, Michael is having a lot of thoughts about taking his relationship with Dani to the next level. As for Crew, he is working to focus on his game. When multiple tragedies strike at once, it pulls each of them in different directions. This all forces them to navigate where they want their relationship to go and to have some difficult conversations.
The books in this series keep hitting! I really am loving getting to know these characters intimately as they navigate the different sides of being in a ploy relationship, from the good to the not-so-good. Although the guys are initially all focused on Dani as a partner (as they are only dating Dani and not each other), they soon realise that they need to be thinking and considering the other guys as well, and how important it is for them all to figure out what they all want in the relationship and come together and compromise in order to get their HEA. Of course, on the way to the HEA, there are ups, and there are downs. But can they learn to develop deeper relationships with each other and navigate in this new relationship they have all embarked on? From family emergencies to dreaded work parties, the story is a perfect mix of heart and emotion, fun/banter, and of course, heat. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
Again, the narration (just like the previous 2 books) is excellent! Featuring a full-cast narration, this time performed by Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Royce St. Cloud, Zachary Johnson, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, Aryann Michele, and Robert Hatchet, all the narrators brought every moment to life. They brought emotion and levity, as well as fun to their performance. I loved it!

Center Ice is the first book in the Boston Rebels series. This is a second chance, surprise baby, hockey romance starring5 Stars! Beautifully written!
Center Ice is the first book in the Boston Rebels series. This is a second chance, surprise baby, hockey romance starring our MCs, Audrey and Drew. They originally met at university (college) when Drew needed a math tutor. Although they both had an attraction to each other, they never were sure about the other’s attraction for them so they kept their feelings locked away until one night when they had a quick fling that changed their lives forever. Following that, Drew got drafted to the NHL and Audrey found out she was pregnant. Six years have since past, and Drew has now been traded back to his hometown. He bumps into Audrey and finds out he is father to 5-year-old Graham. He now has to grapple with this new reality and make room for Audrey and his son, as well as some other things that need his attention like his family and mother’s health issues.
My overall thoughts of this book = Chef’s kiss! ...more
The Chicago Racketeers series continues with book 2. Dani always imagined bringing her boyfriend home for Christmas, and how great meeting 4.5 Stars!
The Chicago Racketeers series continues with book 2. Dani always imagined bringing her boyfriend home for Christmas, and how great meeting his parents would be. But what does that look like when you’re dating 3 men? Four Pucking Christmases is a Christmas novella in which we see how our 4 lovebirds, Dani, Nathan, Michael, and Crew, navigate the Christmas holidays, meeting the family, and all that comes with it. Will they survive four family Christmases in two days?
This novella was cute. It was nice being back in this world and I loved seeing our MCs again. What I loved the most was the fact that although this was a nice, cutesy novella, it also brought up very real issues that could occur in such relationships (why-choose relationships/multiple partners). It was interesting seeing them navigate through their relationship, trying to fit into each other’s lives some more, and everything that comes with interacting with the outside world when in a multiple-partner relationship. Because let’s face it, you’re not always going to be in a bubble with just your partners and you’ll have to (eventually) not only introduce your partners to your family members but also just friends and new people whom you meet. So, this was all interesting to see how our 4 MCs dealt with that.
The narration continues to be amazing! As with book 1, it featured a full-cast narration, still performed by Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Winston James, Zachary Johnson, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, and Aryann Michele. They also killed it with this one! I highly recommend the audiobooks with this series.

Puck One Night Stands is book 1 of the Chicago Racketeers series. This is a why-choose romance between the FMC Danielle (Dani) and her four4.5 Stars!
Puck One Night Stands is book 1 of the Chicago Racketeers series. This is a why-choose romance between the FMC Danielle (Dani) and her four dudes, Nathan, Michael, and Crew. Dani is a bookstore owner who one day goes on a bad blind date. Whilst there, she catches the eye of the hockey team’s owner Nathan Armstrong when he is asked to interact more with the team’s fans by giving out free front role/seat tickets. During the game, she is also reacquainted with her bestie’s brother, Crew McNeill, who happens to be the new hot shot player for the team (the Racketeers). After the game, she also meets the team’s doctor/physician Michael Hughes. They all want her. How will she navigate these new romances with 3 different guys?
This book was just so fun to read/listen to. It was full of banter, and you can’t help but to love all these characters. Although my fav was def Crew, I loved all of them and their personalities. Dani was the quiet, and quirky bookstore and bakery co-owner whom we got to see come out of her shell by the end of the book. Nathan, the older, broody owner of the hockey team whom very much gave alpha vibes. Michael, the level-headed and caring one. And Crew (my heart belongs to Crew ...more
