Darcey siempre tienen en su punto de mira a Conor ‘King’ Royce, mejor amigo de su hermano y prácticamente el chico que cualquiera puede desear. Connor la desea, quiere que sea suya, pero para eso tendrá q hacer que las salvaguardas que ella tiene bajen. Pero la distancia y el tiempo impedirán que ambos tengan la relación que ellos esperan.
Al principio del libro me encantó como los personajes tienen ese tira y afloja que los estaba consumiendo, pero en parte divertido. Una relación que Connor tenía ganas, la quería, pero múltiples factores que hace no sean tan rápidos el comienzo.
El cambio de una parte a otra, el tiempo y el espacio, es duro para lo personajes y rápido para el lector, aun así, Connor añade una vuelta difícil. Darcey supo mantenerse en pie durante ese tiempo, siendo un personaje que, aunque paseen cosas difíciles, nunca dejará de superarse.

Muy usualmente suelo decir que me encanta algún que otro protagonista masculino, pero en este mismo libro ocurre todo lo contrario. No lo soporté. Y por ello la autora nos engancha a un cúmulo de acontecimientos que te hace dudar de este personaje, aunque al final del libro las explicaciones salen a la luz, pero desde mi punto de vista personal, no me gana nada.
Charlie tiene mucha paciencia, mucho más de la que tendría yo en este caso. Mentiras y secretos ocultos día a día son presentes en su vida, hasta tal punto incluso de no saber que es real o no. Charlie se merece más de lo que Luke le daba y probablemente con ese final puede que las cosas salgan a mejor o no. Yo tengo los dedos cruzados para ello.

Lucifer apareció en la vida de Theia siendo unos crios y se volvieron inseparables. Unos mejores amigos que no se separaban uno del otro desarrollando sentimientos, pero por causas duras se tuvieron que separar cuando se prometieron no hacerlo. Ahora la vida de Theia es de una mujer casada, pero no todo es lo que parece.
Conocida a la autora, no podía esperar menos de ella, y nuevamente me ha sorprendido infinitamente. Esta historia une momentos desgarradores y dolorosos, con otros románticos y especiales y muy calientes. Pero no es lo único, ya que une el pasado y el presente, dos contrastes que hacen que la historia muestre los vínculos que unen a los protagonistas y se divide en dos partes.
Estos protagonistas forman parte de la Mafia que tanto me gusta. Theia está metida en un mundo en relación con su marido, y Lucifer desde temprana edad, en ese pasado que compartido con Theia. Toda esa trama hace un contraste perfecto a la historia de amor. Y no solo el amor de los protagonistas, el sexo es caliente y explosivo.

Knowing the author, I couldn't expect anything less from her, and once again, she has surprised me infinitely. This story unites heartbreaking and painful moments, with other romantic and special and hot ones. But it is not the only thing, because it unites the past and the present, two contrasts that make the story show the links that unite the protagonists in two parts.

Jackson si es un personaje algo oscuro con una venganza planeada, con cada paso super meditado. Me gusto esa parte suya, pero le faltó algo más respecto a la relación con Ryley. Hay pocos capítulos desde su punto de vista y por ello no se conoce muy a fondo el deseo que tiene hacia Ryley. Eso lo he eche muchísimo en falta.
Quien sí me llamo la atención fue Cillian. Ese hombre abría la boca y cada frase que decía me ganaba más. Gracias a él y solo él hizo que Jackson abriera los ojos y también Ryley. Por ello le debo mucho a este personaje. ⚜Rate: ★★★★✩

Ryley has a boyfriend who really should have run away from him, but she tries to help him, which is what makes her meet Jackson. I would have liked to have seen her leave behind that slightly bland behavior and get a little angrier when she finds out who Jackson is.

Todo como ella tenía planeado, salvo que su padre le pondrá un guardaespaldas, Taron Sloane, 35, que no le quitará el ojo de encima.
Principalmente es una novela que en un primer momento piensas que la protagonista no tiene peor manera de empezar. Por ello, estuve super disgustada, por lo duro que debe de ser estar en esa situación. Luna no se muestra recaída salvo en momentos excepcionales, y a mi parecer estuvo esplendida dejando todo atrás y divirtiéndose con sus amiga.
Taron tiene una historia detrás y esconde mucho de lo que muestra y por eso, hace que te enamores del personaje que esta ahí en todo momento para protegerla, aunque para Luna sea en un principio como si le pusieran una niñera. Hubo algo en él, que no conseguí descifrar, pero que me atrajo. No sé si la protección, el respeto o lo cariñoso que fue con Luna.
Momentos críticos que imposibilitan la relación, más otros románticos hacen de un libro que no quieras parar de leer. Me llamo la atención personajes que aparecieron de la nada, pero que son muy queridos por mí, dándome una grata sorpresa.
Por tanto, es otro libro que muestra el cariño de la autora a antiguos personajes y una facilidad al escribir una gran historia. ⚜Rate: ★★★★✩

Harper Martin, 24, es divorciada y ahora con su encuentro en la víspera de año nuevo con Ryan tiene una carga encima. Para mí fue muy decidida, algo que me gusto, ir a buscar a Ryan para contarle todo y que juntos llegaran a una conclusión.
Ryan Monroe, 35, es nadador, compañero Jace Atwood, que disfruto de una muy buena noche en compañía de Harper. Pero el encuentro con ella es inesperado y sobre todo muy sorprendente para él. Ame que en todo momento estuviera con ella, preocupándose y descubrimientos por Internet muy divertidos.
El final me dejó muy impresionada. No me imaginaba la conexión que ambos tenían, y saberlo en lo último del libro fue un buen giro en la historia.

Partiendo de la base de este libro, narra el pasado de O.J antes de conocer a Nicole, durante y después de su fallecimiento. Interrogatorios y demás que esta genial para conocer su punto de vista, hasta que el expone su “¿Y si lo hice?” Entonces pone a un personaje para cometer el asesinato, aunque el esta presente.
El libro no esta mal para una historia de terror escrita por un autor para darle un toque de suspense a sus lectores. Ahora cuando este libro forma parte de la realidad toma un sentido otro sentido. Horror, nauseabundo, ira y demás adjetivos calificativos que se te aparece en la mente por pensar en como la vida de una persona se acabó. Una gran desgracia.
Sinceramente si queréis saber la historia, conocer la verdad, yo directamente iría a ver el documental “ O.J.: Made in America” y no perdería el tiempo en tonterías, donde muestra la historia de O.J como estrella de futbol americano, su relación con Nicole, el caso y años después con su detención en las Vegas. Spanish: “The Butcher” de Celia Aaron es el tercer y último libro de esta increíble serie “Dark Protector”. Nuevamente es un romance dark, con mafiosos, suspense, crímenes, que te engancha No hay mucho que añadir, ya que sigue la misma estela que los anteriores libros.
Este libro es standalone, y aunque sea un tipo de precuela, nuevamente recomiendo leer los anteriores para tener mero conocimiento, no solo de las historias y de los personajes masculinos que, son muy explosivos, sino de lo gran autora que es Celia Aaron respecto a esta serie.
David Raven y Angel se conocen desde pequeños, pero ciertas circunstancias hacen que ambos se distancien. El destino hace que David la encuentre años después, y tendrá que sacarla de la situación en la que Angel se ve envuelta, mostrando la química entre ellos es aún mayor después del paso del tiempo.
Como no poder amar a David, el sexy alpha, dominante, personaje que se asemeja a Conrad y Nate. Éste tiene sentimientos muy profundos y no puede olvidarse de Angel, un gran amor del pasado. Celia Aaron exprime al máximo a un personaje que te enamora, y al ser una novela dark le hace más varonil, bruto y muy deseable. Vaya, como todos los personajes de esta serie.
Con Angel empatice mucho ya que su vida no es un cuento de hadas. Su padre, no es como cualquier padre, y sufre una tortura tanto interna como externamente, hasta que David la encuentra, la protege y la saca de esa situación.
Pena es lo que siento después de haber terminado esta maravillosa serie, con estos personajes que son para mi una parte muy importante para que estos libros hayan sido tan entretenidos. Y aunque sé que no tendré mas de ellos, siempre quedara volver a releerlos. Aun así, no todo es tristeza, ya que con esta autora estoy segura de que descubriré a más personajes que me conquistaran. This book is standalone, and even though it is a kind of prequel, I recommend reading the previous ones to have mere knowledge, not only of the stories and the male characters who are very explosive but of what a great author Celia Aaron is regarding this series.
David Raven and Angel have known each other since they were little, but certain circumstances cause them to drift apart. Fate has David find her years later, and he will have to get her out of the situation Angel is involved in, showing the chemistry between them is even greater over time.
How can you not love David, the sexy alpha, dominant, character that resembles Conrad and Nate. He has very deep feelings and can't forget Angel, great love from the past. Celia Aaron squeezes the most out of a character you fall in love with, and being a dark novel makes him more manly, raw, and very desirable. Well, like all the characters in this series.

Spanish: “Without Her” de Ashlee Rose es el quinto que forma parte de la serie “Entwined In You”. Es un romance contemporáneo escrito desde el punto de vista de Carter, por tanto, es muy recomendable que se lean los anteriores donde se conoce a Freya.
Carter Cole cogió un avión y se marcho después de todo el descubrimiento y los meses pasan, pero su cabeza no puede dejar de pensar en ella, Freya. Intenta rehacer su vida, pero nada es lo mismo, sus sentimientos siguen ahí. Con un viaje a Paris y con ello volver a verla hará que las chispas vuelvan a resurgir de un amor que nunca fue olvidado.
Me encanta siempre leer el punto de vista de los personajes masculinos, y este en particular porque así puedo recordar la historia de Carter y Freya, además añadirle más conocimiento de la historia o partes que desde la perspectiva de Freya igual no comprendía y ahora con Carter sí.
En el anterior libro su relación queda muy mal, y en este sigue más de lo mismo. Carter además ha decidido rehacer su vida entre comillas, pero no puede dejar de pensar en ella. Y todo ello y más explica el viaje a París.
Carter enamora cada vez más con cada libro, porque tiene cada frase que se te derrite el corazón. Para mí, el momento de escribir la carta, fue donde se dejó su corazón y se vio como estaba destrozado. Fue un punto de inflexión que con su reencuentro hicieron que todo volviera un poco a la normalidad.
Ella era mi oxígeno, la necesito como el aire que respiré. Ella era mi razón para la salida, mi razón para la supervivencia

I always love to read male characters' point of view, and this one in particular, because it allows me to remember Carter and Freya's story. Also, add more knowledge to the story or parts that from Freya's perspective I didn't understand and now with Carter I do.
In the previous book their relationship looks quite bad, and in this one continues. Carter has also decided to "remake his life", but he can't stop thinking about her.
I fall deeper in love with Carter with each book because each sentence he says melts your heart. For me, the moment he wrote the letter, that's where he put down his heart and how he was heartbroken. It was a turning point that their re-encounter made everything return a little bit to normal.

Spanish: “Nate” de Celia Aaron es el segundo libro que forma parte la serie “Dark Protector”. Es un romance dark, con mafiosos, suspense, crímenes, que te engancha. Tenia muchas ganas de leer este libro, dios, como me ha enamorado mi Nate.
Ese libro está basado en unos años antes, en como Nate, 33, salvo a una pequeña Sabrina de 13 años, y la envío lejos para continuar con los estudios y tener una mejor vida. Ahora Sabrina tiene 18 y está de vuelta, ya no es la niña pequeña que Nate dejó atrás. Ahora es una joven que está dispuesta a hacer que Nate se enamore de ella.
Esta serie se pone cada vez más y más interesante. Me está gustando demasiado estos personajes masculinos, poderosos, varoniles y muy protectores, que esta autora me está haciendo enamorar. Principalmente, hay que tener en cuenta que hay que leer el libro anterior para tener un mero conocimiento sobre quiénes son y de dónde aparecen estos personajes, creo que es muy importante y primordial aunque se catalogue como standalone.
En el anterior libro conocí a Nate y a su sentido del humor, y ahora veo que el personaje ha madurado mucho más, es una persona decidida y muy centrada, que tiene se rodea en unos ambientes un poco inquietantes. A Sabrina, la conocí a grandes rasgos con anterioridad, por eso la necesidad de leer “Dark Protector”, donde descubrí un poco el drama y las situaciones tan desfavorecida que a pronta edad sufrió.
Bueno, pues ambos personajes se unen de nuevo y las chispas saltan instantáneamente. Pero Nate se frena muchísimo, y la razón el age-gap. Pero Sabrina no dejará que este sea motivo para no poder estar juntos e intentará llevárselo a su terreno. Sabrina sabe conquistarlo y hacer que Conrad pierda el sentido, y que el deseo haga que los dos se dejen llevar.
El suspense, las balas con el peligro adrenalina, no fallarán tampoco en este libro, que como el primero, ha sido un libro más que perfecto y que releería infinidad de veces. Rate: ★★★★★

She is no longer the little girl Nate left behind. Now she is a young woman who's ready to make Nate fall in love with her.
This series keeps getting progressively interested. I'm enjoying these males too much, powerful, masculine, and very protective characters that this author is making me fall in love with. Mainly, you have to keep in mind that you have to read the previous book to have mere knowledge about who these characters are and where they appear from, and I think it is important, and paramount even though it's cataloged as standalone.
In the previous book, I met Nate, his sense of humor, and now I see that the character has matured much more. He is a determined and very focused person who has surrounded himself in some disturbing environments. I knew Sabrina in detail before in "Dark Protector", that's why the reason to read previously, where I discovered a part of her drama and the adverse situations that she suffered at an early age.
Well, the two characters get together again, and sparks fly instantly. But Nate slows down a lot, and the reason is the age-gap. But Sabrina won't let this be a reason for not being able to be together, and she will try to take him to her territory. Sabrina knows how to conquer him and make Conrad lose his senses, and the desire makes them both get carried away.
The suspense, the bullets with the adrenaline danger, will not fail in this book, which like the first one, has been a more than perfect book and that I would reread countless times. Rate: ★★★★★...more

Ollie Mills lleva interesado de Luce Winchester desde el primer momento que la conoció, aunque conquistarla es algo difícil con la reputación que tiene. Pero estos son secuestrados y se quedan desamparados en una isla y ahí es donde Luce tendrá que confiar en él y darse cuenta de que no es tal y como lo pintan.
El último miembro de los “Sunset Revival” y no puede ser que este hombre me haya enamorado tanto. Desde un primer momento lo juzgue mucho y más cuando conoció a Emma, pero en este me mostró un cambio brutal a mejor. Es una persona diferente y más aún en lo q respecta a Luce. Con sus problemas y sus más y sus menos, pero me ha encantado.

Pero Chloe está por Luca desde el principio, nunca pudo quitarse esa sensación de que tienen que ser novios. Día tras día no se separaba de él, y es tan dulce y romántico, pero Luca mantiene las distancias al ser mayor que ella.
Es comprensible la situación en la que están ambos, una loca enamorada desde tan temprana edad y él con experiencia sabiendo lo que está correcto y lo que no. Manteniendo distancias aun sabiendo que se pertenecían el uno al otro.
En cuanto a los aspectos del presente, y como el tema dark empieza a aparecer, el libro toma un suspense, haciendo que Chloe se vea involucrada en cosas que en ningún momento se imaginaba. The story is so sweet at first, three children who share a childhood, who look after each other. But Chloe has been attracted to Luca from the beginning. She could never rid of that feeling that they have to be lovers. Day after day, she never left his side, and it's so sweet and romantic, but Luca keeps his distance as he's older than her.
It's understandable the situation they're both in, a girl-crazy in love from such a young age and him with experience knowing what's right and what's wrong. Keeping their distance even when they know they belonged to each other.

Es difícil hacer esta Review sin empezar con el final del libro. ¿Porque en el último capítulo tiene que pasar eso? ¿Tiene que cambiar tanto una historia que se estaba formando tan bonita? Porque definitivamente para bien o mal el siguiente libro lo veo que va a ser un gran cambio para Charlie.
Ahora si puedo empezar desde el principio, con la tragedia que Charlie sufrió en el anterior libro, tiene que seguir adelante, no sólo por ella, sino que también por su hijo. Esa rutina será muy dura, pero conocer a Trace será todo más ameno.
Trace Johnson es padre soltero como Charlie, pero por más tiempo ya conoce todos los trucos y controla perfectamente su vida tanto personalmente con su hija, como profesionalmente. Ame esa relación de hija y padre y como le protege de las arpías de las otras madres, siendo el soltero de oro.
Me pregunto si ella siente lo que yo siento cuando ella está cerca. Me pregunto si siente que una corriente eléctrica la atraviesa con sólo pensar en mí, espero que sí."
Este libro deja un poco el suspense de lado, para centrarse en una historia romántica, con dos personajes padres solteros que se empiezan a conocer poco a poco, y empieza a verse la bonita familia que se podría formar.

It's hard to do this Review without starting with the end of the book. Why does that have to happen in the last chapter? Does a story that was forming so beautiful have to change so much? Because definitely for better or worse, the next book I see is going to be a big change for Charlie.
Now, if I can start from the beginning, with the tragedy that Charlie suffered in the previous book, it has to go on, not only for her but also for her son. That routine will be very hard, but meeting Trace will be much more enjoyable.
Trace Johnson is a single father like Charlie, but for a longer time, he knows all the tricks and is in perfect control of his life personally with his daughter, as well as professionally. I loved that father-daughter relationship and how she protected him from the other mothers' vixens, being the golden bachelor.
"I wonder if she feels what I feel whenever she's near. I wonder if she feels like an electric current is pulsing through her at just the mere thought of me, I fucking hope so."
This book leaves the suspense a bit aside, to focus on a romantic story, with two single parents, that start to know each other gradually and start to see the beautiful family that could be formed.

Es cierto que al principio no se entiendo mucho el porqué, pero después es comprensible, y a mí me encanta.
Luke me ha conquistado el corazón, es un personaje tan perfecto, sexy y además tiene un corazón de oro. Me recuerda mucho en algunos aspectos a Caleb. En todo momento siempre ha estado pendiente de Rebecca y CJ, que no aparta la vista de ellos, siempre pensando en su bienestar. Es un amor.

Luke has won my heart, he's such a perfect, sexy character and he has a golden heart. He reminds me so much of Caleb in some ways. He's always had his eye on Rebecca and CJ, always looking out for their well-being. He's a sweetheart.

A ambos le costó mucho salir de lo profesional y embarcarse en lo personal, pero era justo que ambos con el peque, se dieran cuenta de lo que podían llegar a ser.

Millie Davis starts a new job taking care of Jace's son, she realizes more what she wants to be, even if her family doesn't agree very much. Both of them will have to help each other and make the little one's life not so different from the previous one.
Jasmin knows how to write, and with each book, she makes a wonderful story, sweet and tender. The pages turn very quickly and with great harmony.
Millie's the best. She has a dream, and although her family doesn't agree with her expectations in life, she knows perfectly well what she wants and won't stop until she gets it. Her relationship with the little one, as she takes care of him, makes her a great expert with children.

El principal personaje es Cillian James el cual conoce a P más tarde conocida como Paige Olsen. De Cillian ya se sabía mucho antes de que este libro comenzará y por tanto ya era conocedora de sus gustos y por donde se movía. Gracias a ello se Conoce a P que para mí ha sido un gran descubrimiento con este personaje.
No vivió en la oscuridad como yo. No. Él sólo bailaba dentro y fuera de ella cuando le apetecía.
Paige es una protagonista muy diferente a las anteriores conocidas. Un pasado demasiado turbio que le sigue condicionando su vida y que cuando conoce a Cillian ve una salida, aunque en un primer momento tiene intención de confiar en nadie.
Pero poco a poco se conocen. Cillian intenta sacarle sonrisas y mucho más a una mujer que intentará abrirse. Un HEA en toda regla con personajes de los tres libros unidos por un bien común. ⚜Rate: ★★★★✩

I was looking forward to this book. Cillian was an important character in the previous book that he was highly satisfactory, and I couldn't stop myself from finishing that book and starting this one.
This story kept me very hooked not only because of Cillian but also for the plot that leaves you until the last chapters to tie up all the loose ends.
The main character is Cillian James, who meets P later known as Paige Olsen. Cillian was already known long before this book began, and therefore, he was already aware of her preferences and where he moved. Thanks to this, P is known, which for me, has been a great discovery with this character.
He didn't live in he darkness like I did. No. He just danced in and out of it whenever the mood took him.
Paige is a very different protagonist from the previously known ones. Too shady past that continues affecting his life, and when she meets Cillian, she sees a future, although at first, she intends to trust no one.

Este libro se centra en la misma línea temporal de “Never Trust a Rockstar”, por tanto, aquellos momentos pasados entre Caleb y Emma donde Dani estuvo involucrada, vuelven a salir, pero esta vez desde el punto de vista de esta y su relación con John en estos.
En “Never Trust a Rockstar” vi un romance dulce y tierno, por ello creía que iba a seguir en esa estela, pero este libro es muy diferente. Tiene un lado muy hot y explosivo entre los personajes que durante todo el libro te mantendrá enganchada. Ambos personajes vienen de mundos diferentes pero la complejidad de esos mundos hace que se entienden mejor.
Dani por ahora es mi personaje femenino preferido de esta serie. En dos capítulos te muestra lo atrevida que es, no se acobarda por nada, y créeme si quiere algo lo conseguirá. Ella principalmente, pero sin olvidar al sexy de John, me mantuvo muy enganchada. Necesitaba saber hasta qué punto era capaz de llegar y aunque Luke estuvo por medio, no se comió la cabeza por tonterías sin sentido.
Algo que dije provocó un incendio en Dani. No era yo el que se salía con la suya, sino al revés. La chica no podía tener suficiente. Cuando subió a la cima para el tercer round, sentí algo en mi corazón que tiraba...
Admiro como John analizo el pasado de Dani. Sabía que escondía también una vida paralela pero no hasta tal extremo. Sus momentos con Dani y los piercings me hicieron mucha gracia, al igual que con Sydney.
Y nuevamente la autora nos ofrece unos Bonus Chapter que me han encantado demasiado. Con un gran paso tomado por ambos. En serio, no los puedo amar más. ⚜Rate: ★★★★★

This book focuses on the same timeline as "Never Trust a Rockstar", so those moments between Caleb and Emma where Dani was involved, come up again, but this time from her point of view, and her relationship with John in these moments.
In "Never Trust a Rockstar" I saw a sweet and tender romance, so I thought I would continue in that vein, but this book is very different. It has a very hot and explosive side to it that will keep you hooked throughout the book. Both characters come from different worlds, but the complexity of those worlds makes them better understood.
Dani is my favorite female character in this series so far. In two chapters, she shows you how daring she is, she doesn't flinch at anything and believe me if she wants something she will get it. She mainly, but not forgetting the sexy John, kept me very hooked. I needed to know how far she could go, and even though Luke was in the way, she didn't mind all this nonsense.
Something I said sparked fire in Dani. It wasn’t me having my way with her but the other way around. The girl couldn’t get enough. When she climbed on top for round three, I felt something in my heart pull
I admire how John analyzed Dani's past. I knew he was also hiding a hidden life. His moments with Dani and the piercings were very funny to me, as well as Sydney.
And again the author offers us some Bonus Chapters that I have loved too much. With a big step taken by both of them. Seriously, I can't love them more. ⚜Rate: ★★★★★...more

Esta novela fue más larga que las anteriores de esta serie, y lo agradecí mucho porque no sólo fui conociendo internamente a los personajes y su relación, también pude seguir paso a paso todo el tema médico Lauren sufría y que me impactó mucho desde el principio.
Lauren Englewood tiene 18 años, pero es demasiado madura, y lo demuestra en cada momento con su problema médico. Un contraste de miedo por lo que cree que está sufriendo y también ilusiones con el Dr.Dan, hace que se equilibre la balanza de emociones en ella, además de un hermano que está pendiente de ella y una familia muy unida.
Dr. Daniel Venable, 45, es el médico más caliente y apuesto del que yo también me enamoraría si fuera Lauren. En todo momento pendiente de Lauren, desde el principio, en modo novio y modo doctor. Mira que he leído, sino toda, la mayoría de los libros de esta serie, y es Dan el que me ha marcado más por su preocupación y sus miedos al poder perderla. Simplemente me conquistó.

This novel was longer than the previous ones in this series, and I really appreciated it because not only did I get to know the characters and their relationship internally, but I was also able to follow step by step the whole medical issue Lauren was suffering from and had a huge effect on me from the beginning.
Lauren Englewood is 18 years old, but she is too mature, and she shows it at every moment with her medical problem. A contrast of fear, for what she believes she is suffering and also delusions with Dr. Dan, balances the emotions in her. Plus, a brother who is looking out for her and a very close-knit family.
Dr. Daniel Venable, 45, is the hot and handsome doctor that I would also fall in love with if I were Lauren. At all times keeping an eye on Lauren, from the beginning, in boyfriend mode and doctor mode. I've read if not all but most of the books in this series, and it's Dan that affected me the most because of his concern and his fears that he might lose her. He simply captivated me.

Spanish: “His To Keep” de S.S. Richards es el segundo y último libro perteneciente a la serie “Beasts In The Dark”. Es un romance dark con muchísima intriga en la que los personajes tendrán que hacer frente a sus problemas individuales.
Venganza es la palabra que no se puede quitar de la cabeza Elena Romano, por ello a su vuelta a los brazos de Maksim Pavlov no se dejara acobardar, ni mucho menos la dejen fuera de los planes que Maksim tiene contra su tío. Pero no todo irá como lo planeado y Elena se verá otra vez atrapada y siendo el títere de su tío, pasando por momentos horribles. Mientras Maksim hará todo y usará todos los medios para volver a recuperarla.
El libro anterior me había dejado dudas sin resolver, y gracias a este ya está todo en orden. Ambos libros son muy parecidos en contenido y suspense, con un orden y tiempos para solucionar los problemas de cada protagonista.
En cuando a Elena estuvo valiente, brava y con las mismas ganas de vengar a su tío, al igual que el primer libro. Alejarse de Maksim fue muy duro, y con la vuelta y la venganza todo se complica. Me esperaba este giro dramático, aunque no de tal magnitud, pero fue fantástico.
Ahora bien, mi relación con Maksim fue un amor odio impresionante, aunque no odio en todo el sentido de la palabra, ya que es imposible odiarlo. Su completa terquedad respecto a Elena cuando salió del cautiverio, me hizo ver lo demasiado desesperado que estaba por recuperarla igual con demasiado ímpetu. Pero es que al mismo tiempo lo comprendía e incluso lloré en demasiados momentos de impotencia, en que ambos protagonistas no daban el paso de dejar todo atrás y olvidar el horror. Aun así, Maksim estuvo perfecto dándole un poco de espacio y encontrando una solución.
"Así que dime", continúo. "Díme cuánto tiempo más necesitas... Quiero saberlo porque ya no puedo soportar estar lejos de ti. Cuando te alejaron de mí, no quería otra cosa que encontrarte y ayudarte a superarlo todo.”
Sinceramente ambos libros han sido todo lo q buscaba en una historia dark como esta, completa y con unos personajes que te hacen sufrir con ellos, pero también buscar un amor como el que ambos tienen. Y ya deseando leer lo próximo de S.S. Richards q estoy segurísima q no me decepcionará ⚜Rate: ★★★★★

Revenge is the word that Elena Romano can't get out of her head, so when she returns to Maksim Pavlov's arms she won't be intimidated, not even out of the plans Maksim has against her uncle. But not everything will go as planned. Elena will be trapped again, and be her uncle's puppet, going through horrible times. While Maksim will do everything and use every means to get her back.
The previous book had left me with unresolved doubts, and thanks to this one, everything is now in order. Both books are very similar in content and suspense, with order and timing to solve the problems of each protagonist.
As for Elena, she was brave, courageous, and equally eager to avenge her uncle, just like the first book. Getting away from Maksim was very hard, with the return and the revenge, everything gets complicated. I was expecting this dramatic turn, although not of such magnitude, it was fantastic.
Now, my relationship with Maksim was an impressive love-hate, although not hate in the full sense of the word, as it is impossible to hate him. His complete stubbornness towards Elena when she came out of captivity, made me see how desperate he was to get her back. But at the same time, I understood and even cried in too many moments of impotence, when both protagonists didn't take the step to leave everything behind and forget the horror. Still, Maksim was perfect at giving her some space and finding a solution.
“So tell me,” I continue. “Tell me how much more time do you need? I want to know because I can’t take being far away from you anymore. When you were taken away from me, I wanted nothing but to find you and help you get through it all.
Sincerely, both books have been everything I was looking for in a dark story like this one, complete and with characters that make you suffer with them but also looking for a love like the one they both have. And already wishing to read the next S.S. Richards that I am sure will not disappoint me. ⚜Rate: ★★★★★

Bueno, en este libro tenemos a varios personajes reconocidos en otros libros de esta serie de novellas. La principal Lacy, la cual es hija de Stephenie Greenwood, protagonista principal del libro “Lawn Boys”.
Easton McVoy, 39, es el predicador del pueblo totalmente reformado después de salir de la cárcel, donde encontró la fe para ser su nuevo camino y empezar una nueva vida. Pero Lacy Greenwood, 17, aparecerá por su iglesia, y todo aquello que le hacía ser un buen pastor, se dará la vuelta y lo único que hará es "pecar" constantemente.
Lacy es una joven que ha pasado por mucho, desde problemas del pasado con su ex, que está en la cárcel, hasta su embarazo inesperado y pérdida. Por todo ello, hace que su madre le recomiende y le dé la idea de encontrar en la fe una guía para su vida.
Al principio, todo es tensión y afecto que se va traspasando límites cada vez que ambos se ven a solas. Es todo tan prohibido y secreto, que el libro engancha mucho más, dándole mucho morbo.
